Over at FSC they have a theme of dreaming of summer. I simply stamped the Stampotique shrooms with black archival over the left over piece of alcohol inked card, masked them off and stamped the TH grunge butterfly over the top. The background is a piece of foam wrapped in a piece of silver sticky tape run through an embossing folder, painted and sanded back. Unfortunately I've covered most of it up!!

Sticky Silver Foil Embossed Backgrounds
I've been playing with foam and kraft card covered in sticky silver foil.
And Fresco chalk paints...
And TH distress paints.
I then ran them through my new to me M-Bossabilities folder - so trendy. Top 2 are distress paints, bottom 2 are the frescos.
And this is the reverse side of the folder. Again top 2 distress paints and bottom 2 frescos.
Then I took my sanding block and sanded back to reveal the silver colour from the foil.
And did the same with the other pieces.
Shall be back when I've turned them into something!!

Backgrounds
I created some more backgrounds using foam and bubble wrap. I used pitch black dabber to wash over the background. I used greens on the top one and blues on the bottom one. Once dry I stamped the letters and numbers with white acrylic paint

4 x 4 - U - Page
U is for Underground. I stamped red circles and went back over them stamping a blue horizontal line to make the underground symbols. I printed out a line map and tore off the corner. I added some of the names of the lines, along with a foam train which I outlined with a black sharpie and the letter U.

Just Playing
I wanted some foam stamps to paint and stamp onto fabric. Zoe came up with a fab idea of making my own. I ran some sticky backed foam through the bigshot a couple of times using T!m's dies, mounted them onto pieces of wood and now I have myself a flourish, half a garland and a couple of flower foam stamps.
This is a piece of calico that I dyed using broken china distressed ink. Although it looks creased I did iron it before I stamped onto it, but it's just how it's dried. I used stream acrylic dabber and my new flourish stamp.

Just Playing
Having dyed all the fabrics I stamped a script image on the base layer. Cut a piece out the middle of the next layer so the image would show through and placed a piece of organza over the top. I attached the lace down the right hand side and used the heart that I'd previously made. I sewed all these onto the base layer. I stamped the word moments on a piece of untreated fabric, used a small piece of wadding to pad it out and sewed around it, again sewing it onto the base layer. I added a button and a piece of ribbon. The brown section is a piece of foam attached with eyelets, which I heated, stamped into, cut out and rubbed over with glimmer paste. I rolled a piece of net curtain around a piece of wadding and tied it at each end with a piece of hemp and hand stitched it to the base layer, top left. I then blasted everything with my heat gun.
