A Few Twinches

The background for these were created with lots of mediums, eco-line inks, gesso and acrylic paint.  Top one is crackled with rock candy, middle left has dimensional pearls around the hair, bottom left has black enamel accents over the body of the bee and the butterfly has glossy accents over the wings.  They are all 2" squares aka a twinchie.

A Few Atc's

I was playing around with my distress inks and stippling them onto the background using shaving foam brushes!!!  Stamped some images, added embellishments and words and on the top left and bottom middle used some dimensional pearls over the hat and around the sun.  Was just having a random play really!!!!

Mask on a Stand

This mask was made earlier using playdoh as a mould, I've just jazzed it up with a bit of colour using adirondack dimensional pearls. The base of this was made from utee and a star shaped cookie cutter, whilst still hot I pressed a wooden chop stick into it. I then painted the chop stick black and attached the mask to it.

Claireabelle's Birthday

I made this for Claire from the Lotstodo forum as it's her birthday today - Happy Birthday Claire. The 'C' is another find from Canada, a 6" high wooden alphabet letter. I coated it in black acrylic paint and when dry applied vaseline in various places. I then used 4 different colours of Adirondack Dimensional Pearls to completely cover it. This is one of the techniques Sir Tim uses on his lastest dvd, The Journey Continues. Once dry, I wiped off the paint where the vaseline was, this revealed the black base coat. I covered a thin 5" x 7" canvas, again another find from Canada, with purple twilight acrylic dabber paint and when dry, stuck the C to it and the rest of the tiled letters to spell out Claire's name

Lotstodo Week 10 - Gorgeous Gesso

I created the background for this mini canvas using adirondack dimensional pearls, butterscotch, lettuce and wild plum. I painted gesso onto some bubble wrap and stamped it onto the canvas. I then wrapped a rubber band around a thin tube, covered that with gesso and rolled it over the canvas.

I transfered a couple of basic grey flourish rub-ons onto the canvas, printed the main image onto acetate and attached, stamped the word 'dreams' from the CI plate 156 onto a piece of card, cut it out and attached bottom left.

Hilda sent me some jigsaw shaped beer mats which I decorated for a few friends using my new Adirondack Dimensional Pearls. They are like metallic acrylics - fab!!

I used them for the flower and diamonds on this one

The outline of the girl and the flowers on this one

To outline the image on this one

I used this quote for the back of them all
