EIR and Other things - Baggage Wagon
So I have my cart done, just no baggage yet to put in the cart.
And for whatever reason there is no human model pushing these mules along.
Not much of a post, but much more to follow coming up on Saturday.

Gigantic Evil Worm
So I have had this miniature for years sitting on my desk. Its a Reaper Bones miniature. The first one that I have painted.
I'm definitely not a fan of the Bones miniatures. I really do not care for the material. It is a cool mini though. The color scheme was more or less a haphazard affair of colors that I was just painting on some other miniatures. I had absolutely no plan on how this would turn out.It will make a good fantasy terrain piece for me. I do plan to actually keep it in my collection. As always more to follow.

Finished Viking Terrain Piece
Finally back to hobby time. Sorry, I've been away for a while. But my Viking project is back in full swing. This time I have a hall for my warriors to reside in. I think this piece turned out okay. It the first time I have used teddy bear fur for the roofing. That was interesting.
Be sure to check back in soon. As more is coming....

Some new Terrain Accessories....fence, trees, supplies, goats.....
Wait a minute goats? Goats and sheep? Yea, goats....
But first supplies, these are Hirst Arts crates and barrels. They paint up well.
Next up a GW fence. I painted this up a bit of a deadwood look and based it similar to my Vikings.
Some more of the Hirst Arts supplies.
These are some dead trees taken and cut off of the GW fence kit pieces. They turned out pretty cool looking.
And here are some of the plastic toy goats and sheep. I showed these a long time ago in their raw plastic form.
Here they are next to a raiding Gripping Beast plastic Viking, more on him later.

Viking Longship.....WIP On the Desk
Been a bit, since I posted any fresh work. My profession and racing have kind of gotten in the way, but this weekend a bit of hobby time.
I've had this Viking ship for a while, and I'm gradually getting a number of terrain pieces ready for expanding my collection.
As you can see above and below, I'm building a guy to be in charge of the ship. I decided to have a more of river look instead of a sailing ship. I plan to make a rolled piece of fabric up for a rolled up sail.
The ship has been set on a piece of plasticard and will have a bit of waves. In the prow of the ship I had to build a bit of platform as the Revel model does not come with one.
More on this in the future.

Building the Dark Age Cottage
Getting things built on the Stronghold Terrain. Pretty cool looking building.
With it being a resin cast, I anticipated that some of the joins would be a little rough. They are actually not too bad.
After super gluing the walls to the base, I dug out the Apoxie Sculpt, and went to work filling gaps and reinforcing the joins. Below the gaps on this end of the base were a little much. I just filled that with some of the Apoxie Sculpt and hit it with a hard bristled tooth brush.
Below you can see the welding of the joins with the Apoxie Sculpt and super glue.
The roof is a bit more problematic, so I used a few pins and some more Apoxie Sculpt.
More on this project to follow.

Stronghold Terrain - Unboxing of the Dark Age Cottage
I recently ordered the Dark Age Cottage from Stronghold Terrain to further expand my collection of terrain. Pretty nice looking piece. There is a bit of strange thing with their mail order if you are ordering from the United States. Their form asks for your State, but when they process the order and the shipping address the State does not show up. When I caught that in the confirmation email they sent to me, they had already packed and shipped the item. At least with the Zip Code it found its way to me from Germany.
This is what you receive in the kit from them. The Cottage, miscellaneous barrels and sacks, some faux fur for the roofing.
The detail is very crisp and fine. Not much in the way of mold flash.
Looks like it will be a fun piece to put together.

More Armorcast Terrain....Part 3
More of the Armorcast terrain, that I finished up. The walls on this piece turned out pretty cool, after I washed them with Secret Weapons' washes, Baby Poop and Algae if I remember correctly.
Should make a nice addition to my limited amount of terrain.
The piece below is one of the more basic pieces in the rubble kit. I added a bit more of the tile plasticard for some flooring.
Next up on the terrain front for me is a piece that I recently purchased from Stronghold Terrain, the Dark Ages Cottage, I may do a review of the piece also, pretty cool looking terrain.

More Armorcast Terrain....
I like this piece with the broken chimney. I think it came out pretty cool. Of course these Armorcast
pieces are just resin walls. I glued the walls to some scrap plasticard. In side the room I had some plasticard that looked like tile flooring so, I glued a piece of that in and added some ballast for flock.
The boards outside of the structure are just broken pieces of a popsicle stick.
Top view gives you a good overall view of the ruins.

Painted some Armorcast Terrain
Finally got around to painting up this terrain. Some Armorcast ruins. I purposely did up this terrain rather generic for my gaming table. I think these pieces turned out pretty cool.
Some more corner ruined pieces. Basically alot of drybrushing with a whole lot of washes to bring out some more detail.
Fun stuff to do.
