Yea I know. I promise, this is the last Night Goblin. No more after this one....that I'm aware of.
Like the other one, yes this was sitting on my desk partially painted for 5+ years. We can call it done.

Eww! A Night Goblin .... What the heck PPC?
Yea, I know. You were not expecting that. Well started painting this miniature like 5+ years ago and then it sat on the desk.
So I was finishing up some things the other day and decided this needed to get done.
I was originally doing this as a test piece for a Warhammer Orcs and Goblins army, but with the demise of that game, that project was scrapped completely.
I think the green turned out alright.
As always more to follow.

Converted Goblin Wolf Riders...are here
The Vampire Count bashing goblin riders are here. I was asked to continue the commissioned theme into the Wolf Riders. These are some of the oldest of the models that are part of this army and are in need of a little updating.
To continue the theme, I decided to go back to the skeleton/tombstone idea once again. The commissioner will take care of most the basing, but I wanted to have plenty of eye candy to tie these in.
The goal was also to make each model an individual, just like the boys were.
The bowman are bit more static, and the spears got the dynamic look.

Goblin Wolf Riders in the Works
Next project for the Vampire Count Battling Orcs is a unit goblin wolf riders.
This is one of the older kits for the Goblins. I still like the goblins but the wolves are a different story.
I decided once again to use skeletons and tombstones and such. This one gets a skeleton with a spear sticking him to the ground. The models were going to be armed with every option.

Goblin Spider Rider Conversions...The Devil is in the Details
Spider Riders....These are to go with theVC Clubbin' Orc boys. This is the first time I have ever worked with these models.
I decided to do that by simply including the VC element on the base and movement tray work.
There is my favorite element, a skeleton all wound up in spider webbing.
What to do with the riders, as you see above, I just decided to enhance the detail with some more feathers, and some fur. The arms essentially are just cylinders so repositioning the spear arms is easy enough, but not necessary.
The movement tray and bases will get some sand and later flocking.
The spiders are actually nice to work with and fairly easily to manipulate. When I do my human bashing orc army, may revisit the spider riders, but I will most certainly use the larger mult-piece goblins, and not these weenies.
I was dreading these models, to begin with. The riders are a converter's nightmare, one piece, super-tiny highly detailed models. Not what I call fun to work with. The spiders are fine.
The real concern was continuing the theme: Bashin' Vampire Counts.I decided to do that by simply including the VC element on the base and movement tray work.

Next up, the Roman Legions.
