This is another Arthurian miniatures from Saxon Miniatures. Kind of a cool looking miniature. I did convert it slightly with a plastic spear from another kit.
As with the other Arthurians that I have painted, I think the heads are a little on the large size.
Other than that the miniature is very nice, and paints well. Arthurians are really not something that I'm interested in, so this miniature is going up on eBay for sale as well.
As always much more to follow....the Saxons from the previous post have cleared the WIP desk, and been replaced by another batch.

Another Finish Painted Arthurian
Another of the Saxon Miniatures' Arthurian models. This model was converted by me using a Gripping Beast plastic shield and spear.
Detail is fairly good, with the exception of the face.
Another fun and easy model to paint. I think it turned out pretty good.
Good side view of the model. I do like how the purples turned out.

Finish Painted Arthurian from Saxon Miniatures
This is one of the Arthurian warlord miniatures from Saxon Miniatures that I received from them as a sample pack. Pretty cool miniature to paint. I really love the pose.
Detail is good, but not quite as good as the Viking warlords that I have of Saxon's. The shield is from Gripping Beast plastics. I don't think the faces and hands on the Arthurians are as good as the vikings either. I just ordered the Saxon Warlords.
Good dynamic. Paint scheme was an experiment of sorts. My left eye I feel is getting better, and wen to the optometrist yesterday and he felt there has been no change, just a matter of fighting with lubrication.

Saxon Miniatures' Arthurian Review....
From orcs to King Arthur. These are miniatures from Saxon Miniatures. They are some of the Arthurian Warlords. Saxon sent me some samples after my Viking Warlord order.
They are very dynamic and cool looking miniatures. Although the heads to me just seem to be slightly on the large side. I was only sent some swords and thought spears would work a bit better with them. The spears are left over hands cut off of some Gripping Beast plastics. The hands fit the scale well.
That's also a good thing as I really don't care for the metal open hands. I understand why that is done by Saxon, but to me it just did not real well with the exception being the one with the sword.
I am not much into Arthurians, Vikings and Saxons are more my thing. I plan to paint these up, with shields of course and auction them off on eBay.
Below you can see a scale comparison for those that are interested. From left to right: My converted Warlord Games Barbarian with a Gripping Beast plastic viking head, an Arthurian, a Foundry viking, an Arthurian, a Gripping Beast plastic Dark Ages mini, and a Gripping Beast metal viking.
