Anglo-Danish Warlord Hereward

This is the Gripping Beast, Hereward model.  Man this is an ugly miniature and really poorly concieved in my opinion.  The face is flat, the cape is even worse.
Gripping Beast really missed it on this miniature.  Not the shield he is carrying has a Little Big Men transfer and the one at his feet is my paint work.
Yea, I don't like this miniature.  I plan to get rid of it and will also go up for auction.

A Saga Anglo-Danish War Chieftan

So this is Hereward, the son of the Earl of Mercia, an Anglo-Danish lord.  I bought this miniature with SAGA in mind use a Anglo-Danish lord.  It looked okay in the pics, but upon close examination its not really an appealing model.
Detail is pretty flat, the cape is definitely not dynamic.  So I modeled it up on this base, plan to paint it and sell it.  Use the Saxon Miniatures for your characters.

Anglo-Danish Huscarls.... 4 More Figs

Some more of the Anglo-Danish dane-axe wielders.
Most of them are Foundry minis.  Very generic bases at the moment.

Pretty fast paint jobs for me, but they turned out quite well.
