Great video of people doing impossible things....
...of course, you don't see all the ER room visits for when things don't work out so well.

Anglicans having fun
First, N.T. Wright, the Anglican Bishop of Durham and author, historian and theologian, went on the Colbert Report.
Then, Anglicans weighed in on their Bishop's performance.
Then, the Bishop weighed in on their comments.
Showing that you can never tell who is reading your snarky comments.

Public Service Announcement
Gentlemen,
Let's face it, we are self-involved. We have work, hobbies and other activities that prevent of from spending time with our wives and/or sweethearts. Consequently, we neglect them, cruelly and unfairly, because, at bottom and deep down, men are, as we have learned from recently watching "Sex and the City", "narcissistic pigs."
Let's put an end to all that. Let us show our wives and/or sweethearts how important they are with a thoughtful little gift.
To that end, allow me to introduce you to this important interactive "bikini model" tool whereby men can make intelligent and considered decisions about gifts for their wives and/or sweethearts.
Now you can spend the time on your wife and/or sweetheart that she and/or they deserve.
You're welcome.

CGI: The closest we are ever likely to get to time-travel
Check out this video that demonstrates how the visual effects were inserted around the live actors in the HBO series "John Adams."
Pretty cool.

This is either an example of terrific deadpan humor...
...or a containment seal on some secret lab broke down.
Proposed (Classified) Bill Will Defend Against Flesh-Eating (Classified)
I like the part about "enormous size and otherworldy strength classified."

More Cool Stuff.
As long as I'm looting Mark Shea for content, I wanted to link to this home-made demonstration of Greco-Roman engineering, which by the way involves a beautiful rendition of "Ave Maria."
After you listen to it, reflect on the fact that the music was captured on a digital camera and involved no amplification but could be heard halfway up the amphitheater as if there had been a working public address system.
Neat!
Enjoy.

Even Cooler than a Blog-Swarm of Peripatetic Calvinists.
Check out this comment thread from Dale Price's blog where Dale gives the hook to a 9/11 "truther."
Plus, there are even comments by science fiction author S.M. Stirling.
