Election 2016 - Hubris

At the end of a television special that amounted to the cool kids making fun of the country bumpkin that had just transferred to their school, Stephen Colbert said:

Maybe we overdosed, he suggested. “We drank too much of the poison.”//

It suddenly became poisonous after the mockery and only when Wisconsin went Trump.
