For Christmas, my mom and Mick (Gramps and Grandma Potter) gave us money
which we put towards buying tickets for our family (minus Kayla) to go to
Marvel Universe Live. We have been SO excited and today was finally the day. We
left Kayla with the Kidd's, which she was not thrilled about, but it was so
much better not having to worry about her whining and getting tired.
Marvel Universe is basically a (somewhat cheesy) play of superheroes trying
to save the world. The official description goes like this, "The story is
framed around the battle over the Cosmic Cube, the source of ultimate power and
one of the most feared and coveted treasures in the Marvel Universe. The Cosmic
Cube has been shattered into pieces by the Mighty Thor in order to prevent it
from falling into the wrong hands. To defeat Loki, Marvel’s greatest Super
Heroes must band together, including the Avengers-Iron Man, Captain America,
Thor and Hulk along with Spider-man and trek across the globe to retrieve the
Cosmic Cube fractals and unite them.
As the Super
Heroes track the Cosmic Cube, they will encounter some of their biggest
adversaries, including Loki, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Madame Hydra, and
Aldrich Killian in the quest for the very same fragments. These foes have no
problem teaming up if it gets them closer to their ultimate goal of world
domination."
It was really awesome to see the boys get SO into it. They absolutely loved
it! All 3 of them were glued to the stage the entire time. They all dressed up,
which was really cute. We had a great night. And the boys were tuckered
out by the end.
