Feeding the Ducks

One of the things I love about our new home is how close we are to Daybreak Lake. We love to visit the parks and we love going to the lake. Today I took Andrew and Olivia to the lake to feed the ducks and we had so much fun. Olivia sat quietly and mostly just watched all the fun. Andrew fed the ducks. And I chased off the geese. 

Girl Ride

Today Kayla and I went for a girl bike ride up around the lake. It was so fun! She loved her new bike and we had so much fun being together! We love living close to the Daybreak Lake! 

 

New Park

One of the perks of living where we live is that we are just outside of the Daybreak area. Daybreak is a development that is huge and centered around a lake. Daybreak has amazing parks and we have LOVED going to them. The other day I drove by this one and even from a distance it looked amazing. Today we went to check it out and it was the most amazing park. So many fun features and we loved it. I wish I had gotten more pictures but I was enjoying the moment. 

 

Playing at the Beach

We live about a mile away from Daybreak Lake. All around Daybreak Lake and in their housing communities they have playgrounds and playgrounds and playgrounds and they are super fun playground. True to the "lake" style, these playgrounds all have sand (nice sand) as their base. Today Andrew and I packed up our big bucket of sand toys and we went to one of the playgrounds, not to play at the park but to play in the sand. It didn't take long for some friends to join us and we had a blast building sand castles and tunnels and more!
