NY Trip Day 3

 Recap June 29th

*Boston Temple (baptisms)-this morning we were able to do baptisms in the Boston Temple. So fun to be in a new temple. There was nobody there.
*Lexington-went to the battle grounds. It was crazy to be standing on the ground there.
*Freedom Trail, Boston-this is a walking tour of historic sights in downtown Boston. Things on the trail include cemetaries where some of USA founding fathers are buried, Paul Reveere home, oldest bookstore in Boston, Bunker Hill, Old North Church (where the lanterns were hung, 1 by land 2 by sea), USS Constitution, State Building. It was amazing to see in person all the sights we've read about and heard about.
*Boston Market-ate lunch at the BM
*Drive to Maine! on the way we hit a skunk, which made for a smelly bit of the trip. Luckily, by the time we reached our hotel, the smell had worn off.
