Today was our last day with the Wings and we wanted to make the most of it. We decided to go to a cool park that they live close to. of course the minute we paid and Drove through the gate, the rain started. It continued to rain for the entire morning and unfortunately this was not one of those soft pleasant rains. It was a torrential downpour!!! It's amazing how rain doesn't seem to affect kids. They all just played and played. After a while we headed back to the Wings to wash the clothes that were now soaked. We played for a bit longer before leaving the Seattle area and heading to Spokane to see Grandma and Papa and the Petersen's.
We had such a fun tie with the Wings. We stayed up late talking. We were introduced to one of our new favorite movies, The Quiet Place (there's a sequel that's actually the prequel coming out!). Olivia was smothered with love from not only her sister, but a couple of extra sweet girls, Kelsey and Madison. The kids were introduced to Alexa. Cousins played for hours on end. We hit some amazing landmarks (Space Needle and Rainier National Park) and just had so much fun! Such a fun trip!
