I think it is safe to say that we ALL had such a blast celebrating this cute little girl today. Olivia is so happy and easily excitable and she did not disappoint today, except for her lack of excitement for her cake! We started out the day by letting her play with the rainbow streamers that had been hung in her door way. That alone was enough to make the birthday girl happy!
After that she got to take a birthday bath. Oh how this girl LOVES splashing in water! She could take baths every day, all day if we'd let her! She loves the flowing water. She loves splashing in the water. She loves looking at her reflection in the faucet. It's so cute! After bath time she got dressed into her special birthday outfit!
Today the Kidds came over to give Olivia a special birthday surprise. Hailey and Whitley had made a giant birthday sign for Livvy! It was very cool! Scott tired to have Olivia run through to rip it but the wind beat her too it and it ripped just as she was about to make her run! We love the Kidds!
Next was birthday dinner which consisted of rice, sweet potatoes (her favorite) and an attempt at pizza!
Then on to presents. Olivia seemed to really like her new baby doll, who she tried to give kisses to right away, and her new puppy! The kids were all excited for the puppy pick present and they all brought their puppies with them to the gathering. So now all of the "puppy pick" siblings have met!
Last but not least we had our smash cake! This was the funniest thing ever. Olivia had absolutely NO interest in the cake. It took her several minutes to even touch the cake. AFter lots of coaxing and helping she did finally start playing with the cake and digging her hands in the frosting, although I'm not sure she ever actually took a bite! She did end up as a very colorful little birthday girl and had fun eating ice cream!
Happy birthday Little Livvy! You are one loved little girl and we are so glad you are in our family!
