In years past when Scott takes the older boys on a backpack we make our time at home really fun and do fun activities and make memories with those of us who stay behind. I knew this year would be a little different with Livvy being in the hospital but we still managed to do some fun things. We had a family Pie-O-Neer day celebration. We had a picnic at the park with pizza "pies" and then yummy pies for dessert and then headed back to our house for some fireworks. The Petersens and Grandma and Papa Nelson were in town so we had them join the normal Utah crowd of Kidds, R&S Nelson and us. We love fireworks and the magic and wonder they bring to our lives. Such a fun day.
We also did a pool day with the cousins. Some of the older girls, Sydney and Whitley, were so good about taking Kayla around and playing with her.
We also went to see the new Aladdin movie which was an HUGE hit with these 2! They loved it. We will be singing these songs for months to come! At the end of the movie Scott started trying to call me (over and over). Turns out the weather turned bad and they headed home a day early. After the movie we headed up to the hospital to be with Livvy for the evening. Scott, the older boys and Papa joined us there.
