Hello, here's a little Winnie the Pooh today with some adorable Piglet.  It says,"Oh, Hello there!"  I hope you are have a great Wed.  I am hopeing to goto my last pazaar at Fatih to see if there's any good last minute deals that I need to get.  Last year there was a lady who had a bag of good stuff.  Maybe she will show up again this year with her newest finds.

 Happy Monday!  I can't believe we are at the end of June already.  WOW.  How quickly time has passed.  I have 28 wonderful days left to enjoy.  what would you all like to see in Istanbul?  i have to say the Hagia Sofia is under reconstruction now so going by it on the train everyday is nice but not the same as before. (Dont' get me wrong, this is very necessary work, I am so happy they are doing necessary repairs.)  BUT, I miss that amazing site that it used to be.  I imagine it will now be this way (reconstruction) for YEARS and years.  Plus, for tourists like me, you can't even go into the base floor of the Hagia Sofia inside anymore.  Sigh.  The Hagia Sofia is mostly just a memory.  Sending everyone Peace and love today

Taking the train from Konya back to Istanbul.  It's a long ride, but then I think how long would it be if I was going to the airport, waiting around, getting to IST, taking an hour long expensive ride back to the city.....might as well just take the train....I really hope they have WIFI. lol, man I am spoiled, lol

 Today is the day I get on the plane (later this evening) and will spend like 21+ hours getting to Istanbul from Texas.  I am super excited and can't believe my trip is already here.  WOO HOO.  I thought this card was just perfect for the occasion.  All packed up and ready to go!

Oh....the places you will go

 Happy Monday everyone!  just one more day.  I am so ready to go, or am I?  i might be spending the day stressing about what I have and what I have forgotten....making lists of what I need to remember to bring at the last minute lol;  then again, I have all of tuesday morning and afternoon to be doing that too.  Maybe I should just go out somewhere today to try and stay busy.

I am so looking forward to going a few places this summer, mostly I hope to get a chance to visit a city called Eskisehir as well as a city called Konya.

 Here's a cute mini card today that I made with extra goodies in a Simple stories kit.  They usually have enough parts to make the 8 cards they show with lots of cute leftovers to make extra cards as well.  I highly recommend them *(this is NOT PAID recommendation just my honest opinion)

 Happy Friday!  I hope you all have great plans for the weekend.  I was really hoping to get some special time with my DH this weekend.  We just have two weekends left, but then he got tickets to a concert in California so he will be traveling.  WHOOPS.  I would say that makes me sad, but really I am happy for him.  I can't really criticize him for going when I turn around and leave for two months lol. SO I guess I will already share a LOVE YOU card to him, Love you from afar, lol

 Happy HUMP day, it's my usual work day today, just three of those left this year.  I can't believe it I will miss all my kiddos.  Usually my job has me going from class to class, I don't spend this much time dedicated to a single class as I have for the last several months.  So I have gotten way more attached to the kiddos.

Teachers change the world

 I had to sneak in one more Teacher card for Teacher appreciation week, all the teachers in my school are so nice and so diligent in their work.  They care so much about their students and work very hard at what they do.  People think preschools are day cares but that is NOT at all true.  These teachers do lesson plans, actually teach the kids things everyday, have class schedules, meetings, just like other teachers.  Little kids before the age of 5 LEARN SO MUCH SO QUICKLY it's critical time for them,

 On to Thursday, glad to have a day off.  I think there's only three weeks left now.  Will miss the kiddos over the summer. I know my school continues in the summer with some students.  I was told when hired that I didn't have to work summer.  So I really hope that is true.  Here's a little card for all the teachers at my school. I think teacher appreciation is coming right up.

Hello Sunshine

 Happy May 1st.  It's the last month of school now and it's getting warmer and warmer here in Texas.  Thankful that it's not so hot in Istanbul yet. Here's a cutie from Simple Stories today. It's a school conference day so we won't have kids but will be doing in school tasking.

 Happy Friday everyone!  It's the last day of this week, seemed really quick with Monday being off.  I can't believe there's just 13 days left!  WOW.  I hope you all are also ready for the summertime.  I have spent a lot of time in the one year old class at the close of this year, so most of the kiddos are nearing one and half to two.  What a sweet age they are.  Smile kiddos!  Today is for you!

 Happy Wednesday everyone!  I can't believe we are on the last week of April.  Now it's just 41 days to Turkiye.  Still seems both long and short huh?  Seems like I have a lot to get ready for the trip and plan, but then, seems like I have so long to do it.....anyways here's a cute card for today.  One thing that I made during my trip last month was a handful of Winnie the Pooh cards.

 Happy Tuesday, I still can't believe we are nearing the end of the school year.  I am really getting excited now and I am trying hard to prevent myself from already opening up my suitcases and packing lol!  Usually i have so many requests to bring items to Türkiye from friends that I am negotiating space in my suitcases already.  I don't know if I will have to do that this year.  I will have one suitcase while going and three coming home (two filled with lace, i hope :)
