Discover Yourself

 Well, here we are on Friday, another week of school is finished.  Here in Texas we have changed out schedules and the kids have to take PE everyday of the week.  I know that happens in many other states or countries, but was not the case in Texas before.  However on fridays the schedules are different, because they do PE for only 30 minutes.  So that somehow changes the whole day's schedule.  Don't ask me why, I just know I have a different schedule.  It's only week three, so I am not used to it yet.

Here's a lovely Bugaboo image (sorry they are no longer sold :( anymore) i added some great turkish embellishment, a frilly lace and fringe trim as well as a beautiful butterfly.   You can find such items in my online etsy store LacePlaceByHolley | Etsy   if you want something specific let me know.  I am sorry that I can't do overseas currently, the shipping is just prohibitive.

I just want...

 Here's a sweet card that I made for the DH before I left for Turkiye and added to my blog, it says, "I just want to Thank You for being my reason to look forward to the next day."  He does make me look forward to the future. I can't believe we have been together 20+ years already, seems like just yesterday in one since, and forever in another.

 I am using some lovely butterflies that come in a lace that I got in Turkiye this summer.  I just trimmed the lace to just the butterflies so I could use them as corners.

Here's a cute little Bugaboo stamp, dog theme card. I just love these images from Bugaboo, I think they are Skelekinz.  TOO Cute, plus I had to add a cute dog with a doggie sentiment and some great Turkish lace to go with it.

Let's get caffeinated

Thought this would be a fun card today as all of us Teacher Assistants are working.  (Rest of the district is still on hold).  I figured we could all use come coffee today!  I guess for some this year it is bitter sweet since our school is being torn down and rebuilt.  That means we are all in portables at a host campus.  

I thought this card would be perfect for the starting day.  Let's get caffeinated!  HA!  we'll see what they have the paraprofessional staff doing today.

Here's a little love today, I would say I made this love card for the DH, but because it's a boy card, that doesn't make much sense.  But, then again, any love card makes me think of him.  So, tell me, does this card make you think of it as something to GIVE a boy or a girl?  Hmmm

Here's a hilarious card from Bugaboo.  I just love their lady stamps, both the little old ladies, the cute little girls, the goth type kids and the pretty ladies.  They have a wonderful variety at their store.  This stamp just cracks me up.  I think it is telling me that I need to make a trip this summer.  But alas, I will be spending it at home.  Oh well.  I am so thankful for the amazing trip I got to make last year.  So fabulous!

Hopefully in the upcoming year I can make another trip and go back there.  I still have many things I would love to see.  Hugs all, Holley

Just like Snow, I'm falling for you....
