 Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you are ready for this Valentine filled week.  I thought I would share this heart card today. It's from CC designs.  TOO cute.  I love their stamps, esp their sweet girl theme stamps.  TOO fun. I added a sweet LOVE theme sticker and a flower to the card.

Question of the day:  are you a cat lover?  dog lover?  both?  neither?

Me?  I like both. I don't know if I can pick a favorite for card making.

Rise Above it All

I thought I would add another back to school theme card for week 2 of school (IN PERSON).  The kids are all seeming very excited.  That's what is so sweet about elementary school kids.  They are always happy about coming back to school.  Not always true for the older kids.

This cute image comes from CC Designs.  I had it as a digi stamp.  It may have even been a freebie that they gave away at one time or another, but it is SO darn cute I bet I would have bought it given the chance!

I know that tiny Back to school sentiment comes from Taylored Expressions, I am not sure off the top of my head who does the Rise about it all sentiment. If you know please tell me. (I am thinking Unity but not sure!)

Here's the cutest image from Tickled Pink, which was acquired by CC Designs.  I haven't seen them sell these stamps in a while, but occasionally see them offer these stamps in digi format. I just love this entire stamp line, TOO cute.

True Friend

Here's the cutest image from CC Designs.  I made this card with the sentiment, "Nothing better than a true friend."  How sweet is that?  I just love their sweet little girl stamps and their adorable animal images.  Check them out sometime.

Be-YOU-tiful

Here's an adorable stamp from CC Designs. I love their cute little girl stamps.  I colored her up with Copic Markers.  I also added a sentiment, "be YOU tiful"  I thought that was just perfect with her cute costume.  Hope you love her.

The staff has completed their workdays this week and now has off for the summer.  There's several of our employees who are leaving us this year.  I will really miss them!  Have a wonderful summer everyone!

You are my Sunshine

Here's a funny stamp from CC Designs, Roberto's Cats. I just love this hilarious set of images. I had to buy a whole bunch of them. They are too cute.  This image reminds me of summer in Texas for sure!  I think that sentiment goes perfectly with it, lol!

It's already feeling like summer here, but I shouldn't complain because in another couple months, upper 80s and low 90s will be the LOW temperatures (i.e. the temperature in the middle of the night) and will feel like a well deserved break from the 105-112 degree day time heat.

Holiday Wishes

Sharing this adorable but funky cat with an attitude from CC Designs Robertos Rascals.  I love this funny cat, he has some real sassiness.  I think that's the bah humbug look that a lot of us are feeling.  I had to add a couple of adorable dogs to the card, perhaps that is why he has that look on his face.

Hope you are having a great week.  Just one more day for the school's here until we get out for Christmas break.  Most of the classes here will be having "winter" parties today.  No, we can't have Christmas parties anymore.

Daring cat

Here's a cute Fall theme stamp from CC Designs. I just love this adorable Cat!  There's a whole series of stamps using this fun image.  This stamp is just perfect for Thanksgiving.  Hope you are making plans for a lovely holiday.  I don't really do anything, but it's just lovely to have a quiet day with the hubby, the DH (dear husband in crafter shorthand).

I am also using some great lace on there that I got in Turkiye this summer.  Love this green color of lace.

Here's an adorable Bear from CC Designs.  This wonderful image was a giveaway on their facebook page.  I totally recommend their store as well as joining them on facebook, they had a wonderful selection of free digi stamps including this amazing fall theme image which was perfect for this card today.

We go together like Eggs & Bacon

Here's an adorable image from CC Designs. I just love this cute stamp and fun sentiment to go with it.  I am on my last couple of days off now and preparing for the upcoming school year.  Here it comes!!  lets hope the new teachers we get to work with the SPED kids will just love them as much as our current staff does.

Be Yourself

Here's a lovely image from the East Wind. I love this character that she makes stamps with, Lucy Loo. Just awesome. I am using a banner die cut from (I think) CC designs. Love it.  I also like the way this color combo of red, black and grey turned out together.

More testing is approaching the kiddos, keep them in your thoughts it's a very stressful time for all of them.

Time for some Halloween?

I can't believe it's already Sept!  Wow, I guess this is my change to start making some fun Halloween theme cards which you know if just my favorites!!  This cute stamp from CC Designs could be for Halloween or Fall times though.  Yesterday I was at a store and ended up walking out with a Skull & cross bones doormat as well as the softest new blanket with skulls.

Ahhh, it's Halloween time!  (not that skulls aren't year round here, ha ha!)

Here's the cutest little Princess card for the perfect princess in our family, Anastasia.  It was her first birthday this week and the family is having a bday party for her today. I hope it is a very special day for her!  Big hugs from Holley and John.

One day at a time

 Here's a classic from Sweet Pea stamps that is now retired. This image comes from artist Charmaine Flannery.  I added a great sentiment "I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once."  I thought that sentiment was just perfect with this image and with me as well!

So one thing I made both for the Church Bazaar as well as to handout to the member's of my congregation this New year was cute little mini calendars with magnets on the back so they can put them on their fridge. I made about 50 of these.
