The eve of the end of school

 Well I can see excitement from both the kids and teachers.  It's funny how when we were kids we just assumed the teachers didn't ever leave school.  When my kids see me outside of school they act SO suprised like WHAT? you live outside of school? ha.  But then when I was in school I probably was the same way.  Sad enough I do recall seeing teachers work other jobs when I was a kid.  WOW.  It never hit me back then, teachers having to work second jobs!!

Hope all my kiddos have a wonderful summer!  Just one more day to go kids!

My Furever friend

I just love their images.  TOO cute I added a sweet sentiment, "You are my furever friend"  I am not sure if that sentiment comes from Whipper Snapper or not. Cute Mouse

Here's the cutest little mouse from Whipper Snapper. I just love their fun animal stamps.  So adorable. I added some great Turkish lace in pink on the side to go with the pink flower on the card.  Don't you love it?  Can you believe we are almost at the end of January?  that means just a little over 4 months until Turkiye!!  woo hoo.  as much as I hate to have to close the Etsy shop while gone, that is what will be done.  You know, going to have to stock up this summer.

Sharing this darling image from Whipper Snapper today.  I think most all my cards this month have been animal themed so I might as well add another cute bunny themed card to the mix.  It's got a sweet saying, "Believe in you That's how you make your dreams come true."

 I added some great Turkish lace on the bottom of the card. Here's a crazy confession (that I am making at 3am when I am writing this blog post) I actually had to buy an additional luggage to come home with from Turkey, filled with LACE.  Not kidding.

Hippo Birdie to You, Ms Green!!

Hippo Birdie to you!  Wishing a dear friend and co-worker at AISD a wonderful Birthday today. I hope she has a very special day. She also worked with all the special needs kids at the local school. I thought this adorable hippo-birdie combo would bring a smile to her face!  Big hugs for your birthday!

This cute stamp comes from Whipper Snapper and though I got this lace at a store (scrapbook store) in Turkiye, it's not actually "Turkish" lace, but packaged lace like you get in America that's most likely from China.

Sharing this adorable Whipper Snapper card today for the DH's Birthday.  I  hope he has a wonderful day even though we are stuck at home.  His party will consist of me, him and a big PB Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (assuming they still deliver it).  I hope he likes it.   He said he didn't want anything this year, so I plan on making a donation to the Austin Area (Capitol of Texas) Food Bank in his honor.  I know that is his favorite local charity.

Hope he has a special day!  I will make sure to shower him in love and kisses.

Here's a funny image from Whipper Snapper today for Easter time. I just adore this cute bunny in his basket. I added a simple easter sentiment from I think, Gerda Sterner designs.    I also used some yummy Turkish Lace on the card to brighten the edges.

Have a great day, hope you find some wonderful treats for Easter!  LOL I asked the store the last time I was in there if they had anything for Easter, the guy looked at me like I was crazy.  I mean I know we are in a pandemic, but I am already getting milk, cheese, eggs,....why not some jelly beans too?  Not like I am going store to store asking for jelly beans.

I just can't resist those adorable images from Whipper Snapper.  I got a whole bunch of their stamps recently in Easter theme.  I hope you are enjoying all the Easter cards I made this year.  I don't often have so much time to make holiday cards but this year I was able to create a ton of wonderfully bright easter creations.

Easter Greetings

Here's another darling Whipper Snapper image for Easter time along with a sentiment stamp from Unity stamps KOTM.  I hope you are still doing well with all this social distancing. My blog makes me feel a tiny bit closer to the world.  Virtual High Five everyone!

Have a great day and a start to a great week.  My DH and I are both working from home here and not going out but for an occasional walk and stop off at the local store, which is getting more rare.  I am sure many of your have seen that the CDC has now told everyone to start wearing some type of mask, even a cloth mask to cover their faces when out.

If I have any friends out there making them, I'm looking to get one or two (so I can wear one/wash one).  Happy to trade you for crafting goodies, handmade cards, paypal lol....

This one is precious.  Don't you want to make an Easter Basket for your puppy?  Right now if I even think about making an Easter basket for the DH I would probably include some TOILET PAPER, peanut butter, bread and eggs.  What is with people in the local stores.  You would think they were buying up for the summer and there was no way to go to a store again.  GEEZ people!

Guess the DH will just get a hug...wait, have to stay social distancing of 6 foot, I guess the DH will get a cute card from me for Easter this year.

Here's a cute Easter card that I created using a darling image from Whipper Snapper.  TOO fun. I adore their sweet images.  I forget which company made this sentiment stamp, I will come back and add the name in if I recall which stamp set it came with.

I have a been getting lots of fun cards created up with the break from school.  Right now we are "on call" and I am constantly checking my school messages online, but as long as I am at home with my phone and computer, there is not much I can do at the moment until we have tasking.

Here's an adorable image from Whipper Snapper. I just had to use this cute stamp.  TOO irresistible. It's one of the few companies that I will occasionally get wood stamps of when I come across them in a garage sale or discount store.  (If I am ordering them new, I just get the grey mounted ones.)  I am using some fabulous Turkish lace with this image today and of course, some cute little buttons.

Here's an adorable easter "bunny" from Whipper Snapper. I just had to grab this rubber stamp from my local reuse store.  He's just too cute.  I added some card stock stickers to enhance the card. I hope you have some wonderful Easter plans coming up.

I don't really have any plans, but will be going to church that day even though my church will be closing, we are still going through until December.

Here's the cutest owl from Whipper Snapper Stamps. I adore owls and I added a fun cardstock sticker from Adorn it.  Of course the finishing touch here had to be some wonderful Turkish Lace.  Today is a marvelous day as spring break is HERE!!  Woo hoo!

I am so looking forward to getting lots of fun crafting done this coming week and having a chance to see some friends!

Sweet Snowman

Here's a cute snowman stamp from Whipper Snapper.  We have a great store nearby that does reuse and recycle materials.  One of them is STAMPS!!  Woo hoo.  Here's a goody that I grabbed at that store, this image plus a couple other great Whipper Snapper wood mounted stamps.  How awesome is that?

Wishing  you all a very happy holiday season and hoping that the weather is well, here in Texas that means, hmmm, 60s to 70s for the high. I mean, it's not Christmas if I don't put shorts on.  lol!

For my Love

This Whipper Snapper Stamp is just TOO cute and perfect for fall time.  I love Whipper Snapper's fun animal stamps. I made this sweet card for my DH.  I hope he likes it. I can't believe that December is upon us.  Just a couple of weeks now and we will be at Christmas break.  After that it seems like the countdown to the end of the school year will be getting started (though we are barely half way there).
