Happy Birthday Sister!

Here's a cute birthday card that I made for my sister Hallie. Today is her Birthday!!  Make a wish Sis and I hope it comes true.  I am using an adorable image called Fluffles. I totally love Fluffles stamps, I was super sad when they were discontinued.  I am also using wonderful papers from Paper Temptress on this card.

The base of the card is Mica/Metallic in Flame.  Then I layered another Mica/Metallic called Bronze.  I added a great Hambly Studio Overlay called Gold Hanging Heliconias.  You can get Hambly Studio screenprints and overlays in a wonderful pack of 6x6" sheets which are perfect card size.  I stamped fluffles out onto some Neenah solar white classic crest paper and die cut him with Spellbinders Nestabilities.  Then I added a die cut sentinment in Kraft.

Mini Calendars

So one thing I made both for the Church Bazaar as well as to handout to the member's of my congregation this New year was cute little mini calendars with magnets on the back so they can put them on their fridge. I made about 50 of these.

Christmas Wishes

Here's another fun Fluffles card, I do so miss these stamps, I didn't realize that stampendous had stopped making them until I started doing a little search for them and found some on Ebay for about $50! Are you kidding?  I love Fluffles, but thankfully have most of the fluffles collection, well, most of the ones that I really wanted.  Guess if I ever see one I want at regular retail price, then I should pick it up.
Hope you are all filled with Christmas wishes and cookies today!

Cheers, Holley

It's Fluffles

So here's one of my all time favorites, it's Fluffles!! I totally love this funny cat. I can't really point out what it is, but I just adore this stamp, I always have. He comes from Stampendous.  I have a small (ok, pretty good size) collection of Fluffles stamps.
I am using a brand new background die cut that I just got, loving it, it cuts so well.  Hope you all enjoyed Fluffles today, I made a couple other Fluffles Christmas cards, so you will get somemore treats using him before the holiday ends.

Little Gift Bag

Here's a little gift bag/box that I constructed for my friend Apriell.  I put a fun gift image of Fluffles on it.  Always love that kitty.  Put a couple of delicious snacks in there for her and gave it to her the last time we were together just prior to Christmas.  In case you wanna know what my fav snacks are--go by some super special market and I got her some Chocolate Dipped Kettle Corn nuggets, some Marbled Sensations Chocolate drops, and my fall back (but personal favorite) is Marich Carmels.
Here's a closer view of the Fluffles image:

That cat is one of my all time favorites!  Though it was for a Christmas gift, I think this package is good for anytime. I could have colored it though to make a lot more Christmas-y.

A Gift for You!

Here's a wonderful gift from Fluffles. He's one of my all time favorites, I wonder what he has? Makes me think of this cat, it was outside an office building that I worked at. It was of course a stray, but it got lots of attention from the office and was left food and water from there. Everyday that cat would go to the nearby field and catch a mouse. It would proudly bring that mouse right up to the back (glass) door of the office. It would sit the mouse there for an hour or two. A few hours later you would come back and the mouse would be gone. The next day, the same routine. I guess it was that cat's way of showing that he was doing his job and he wanted you to know. Sweetest cat.

Fluffles Ghost

It's one of my favorite cats, Fluffles from Stampendous. Here he is in his Halloween costume. Turns out he's quite a scaredy cat!! Hard to see based on the scanner but the ghost costume he is wearing has actually been colored in a couple of very light shades of grey. This kind of washed out in the photo making it look stark white.
For those of you who haven't been to Sweet Pea's site, she's having a GREAT grab bag sale right now, get 10 stamps for only $20!! That's only $2 each. Less than 1/2 price. See HERE!!

Fluffles in my basket

Here's a simple Easter card I made with Fluffles. I sent this card to a dear family member whom I shared some crafting fun with. This is Fluffles the kitty from Stampendous. He's hiding in the Easter basket looking for some chocolate. Just want my friends and family to know that I wish you all a Happy Easter this weekend and so sorry that I didn't get to send you all cards this year!!
