Grumpy Bear

 Happy Friday everyone!  It's the last day of March and a day before April Fool's Day.  Now when I went to school we did all kinds of silly things on that day.  I don't think such things happen anymore (in school, at least not the school I go to).  Is that good or bad?

Here's an adorable card using stamp and sentiment from Taylored Expressions Grumplings. I just LOVE that stamp assortment and all the fun sayings that come with it.  I am also using some beautiful flowers including some floral lace.

Time to go Home

The convention ended yesterday so I am traveling home today.  Here's a fun card for the DH, "I really MYTH you."  He knows that is the truth.  When he's not around, like when one of us is out of town. I miss him so.  I know, I know, how can I be spending two months away every summer?  Well, in summertime I am so excited about being in Turkey, it's a whole lot easier.  But as you all can see by me posting cards for my DH all the time, I do miss him then too.

I think this grumpy cat from Taylored Expressions is just hilarious. I added the sentiment, "I wanna be where the people aren't."  How funny is that?  I do often totally feel that way, but i go vacationing in places like Istanbul where the population is 20 million.  I tell my friends that in a city with SO SO SO many people, it's really like you are all alone.  Maybe it's because I don't speak Turkish (though studying on Babble for the last five months, i still know very little),  maybe I am just an introvert and tend not to engage with strangers.  I don't know.

Here's a funny card from Taylored Expressions for Winter time.  It says, "You say "imaginary" like it's a BAD thing."  HA!  perfect for this cute YETI.  Totally made me laugh. I hope you like it and it gave you a little chuckle today.

Thought this sentiment was just hilarious.  I am not sure if I am introverted or extroverted.  I think at times I am both, but by default I am more introverted.    However I am definitely one of those homebody people who's like ok everyone, go home!  stay to yourself.  Then I'm like, but I need a friend.....

Sometimes you just need some truth, "It's too peopley outside."  Funny thing, this was made well before COVID.  Now with covid, this is DOUBLY true.  I just adore the grumplings line of stamps from Taylored Expressions.  TOO funny.  This stamp is no exception.  They are too fun.

 I had to add this funny Grumpling from Taylored Expressions today.  These stamps just crack me up.  They have some of the sassiest sayings.  I also added some great Turkish lace to the card.  Excited now because we are just a couple of days from Spring Break!

It's the big 49!!

Happy Birthday ME!  Yep, it's that day, the BIG 49!!  Of course, I have been telling the kiddos that I am 50 years old for about the last 3 years.  Ha!  So when my actual birthday comes around and they do ask (you know, as polite kids do, ha!!)  I will tell them I am only 49, they are like, but I thought you were 50!  I am like, when you're my age, they are all the same.

Bad MOOO-D

Here's a hilarious card using a fun image from Taylored Expressions Grumplings.  I think I have had a number of days recently that have been pretty tough so I haven't exactly been my best.  Though during school hours I just put on a smile and act happy to the kids.  Then the poor hubby when he gets home, I am gloomy or sad.

Hopefully things will be changing real soon.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  HUGS!

Mini Calendars

Here's some cute little mini calendars that I made to hand out this year.  I am debating whether or not I will do so much work this coming year. it's just a lot.  I guess I will have to think about it.  I know people at the church will be so disappointed if I don't.  So many of them tell me how much they use those calendars all year long.

My parade

I thought this card was a little bit funny given all the downpour on the 4th of July parade.  But  seriously, I just love the Grumplings from Taylored Expressions.  They are TOO funny.  This card could be perfect for any number of occasions and not have to be literal for that rain on the recent national parade.

Here's one of my favorite stamp line from Taylored Expressions, they are the Grumplings.  TOO FUN.  They are all quirky little animals with sarcastic sayings.  Needless to say, I own them ALL.  They are too perfect.  Right now in TX, I need a chill pill, or just give me a full prescription of them because summer is going to be HOT! HOT! HOT!

Here's more cute little mini calendars that I made.  The top row is a Grumplings Penguin and a cute little owl from (I think) Darcies.  The bottom row is a tiny girl with a  heart (unknown Japanese wood stamp) and a cute Grumpling with sentiment.

Just say No

Here's a hilarious Grumpling from Taylored Expressions. I love this cute moose and I added a fun saying, "No....I do not want to build a snowman."  That would totally be me.  When it snows, which is so very rare here in Texas, I am never the one who runs outside to play in the snow or build a snowman.  It just doesn't happen.

I guess that makes me a Grumpling, lol.  Hope you are having a great December, I can't believe it's almost time for the school's holiday break.  As a worker, we only get 7 days off. The kids will get 11.  Cheers, Holley

'tis the season

Here's an adorable image from Taylored Expressions Grumplings line of stamps. I adore these funny images.  TOO cute.  Our weather has been more rainy than cold lately, but we have had more than a few days needing some coats, that unusual for us here, though I guess the rest of the USA has been quite cold.

Stay warm, and especially dry if you are local.  Tis the season, just two more weekends until Christmas and 9 more school days.  Both the kids and the teachers are counting.
