Here's a fun quirky image from Starving Artistamps that I just loved. I don't know why, but it just speaks to me, you know I love the bizarre. I added a fun sentiment, "Create the world you want to see." Now isn't that what card makers do?

Have a great day!
Here's a card I made using a rubber stamp from Starving Artistamps. They have some great quirky and fun images, which you know I love. This quick and cute card was a fun make. I hope it gives you a little smile today. For me it quickly times to the Karakoy (neighborhood in Istanbul) which is a huge fish market in Istanbul. Make me think of a worker there.

Do something awesome
I am using a wonderful base called Poptones Razzleberry. I added a wonderful silver paper then I used a Hambly Screen Overlay called Magenta Vintage Patchwork. I recommend getting the 6x6" cut packs that are just perfect for card making and give a wonderful variety.

Here's some cute calendars....
So earlier in the year I was showing you some of the adorable calendars that I had made and handed out at Christmas time (or I guess New Year's Time). I have had several people, esp those at my church who tell me all the time that they think of me all the time now because they see that calendar everyday on their fridge! Glad they are getting some use!
Here's some more of them, just to give you some ideas of a cute and easy gift to hand out....

It's a Bird, It's a Plane...
No, it's Superman! Here's a fun card that I made using great papers from Paper Temptress. The image here shows the golden shimmer of the base paper, it's called Incandescent Pearl in Nero color. Awesome paper.
I am using a super hero stamp from Starving Artistamps. For the background, I cut out the patch on the front of his uniform.
I used a bright yellow paper with a lot of texture called ruche, Yellow Crepe. Then I added some sparkly red paper on top of it (it has flecks of silver in it) called Sparkle Vermilion. The image was stamped on Heavenly white and colored with watercolor pencils. I finished the card off by adding some adorable buttons and a brad with the word DAD on there. Now it's just perfect for that upcoming Father's Day celebration.Project Materials: Cardstock (Paper Temptress); Rubber Stamp (Starving Artistamps); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Brad (Around the Block); Buttons (Grandma's Button Bag); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Glue Dots); Color (Watercolor Pencils);

Beauty
Here's a great image from Starving Aristamps. The saying is from them too, "Beauty without grace is the hook without the bait." While I love that saying as well, I guess I kind of have to shake my head a little and think it really depends on the fish. I know plenty of people who love beauty and don't look for grace. I also know people who miss grace and fail to see a person's real beauty.

Fairytale Princess
Here's an adorable fairytale princess from Starving Artistamps. Too sweet. I just need a knight to save her from the dragon. Weather outside here has been warm and wonderful. Doesn't make me feel like making winter-y cards, though even if it was cold outside, I seldom feel like making winter theme cards. I guess you will just have to smile at ones I make :) Huge thanks and hugs for all the comments, emails, phone calls, facebook messages yesterday about the birthday.

So Foxy!
Here's an adorable set of images from Starving Artistamps. I love this cute fox and the saying that comes with him. This card is to celebrate my DH coming home from his trip to San Fran. The cat and I have been missing him this week. Of all the weeks he was gone, it would be week that I get bitten by a neighborhood dog. I walk everyday for 2-2.5 hours and the week he is gone is when one runs up and bites me. UGH. I know my hubby felt awful for not being here to help me. I'm just happy he will be home!!Project Materials: Cardstock(Bazzill, Archivers, Neenah); Stamps(Starving Artistamps); Flowers (Prima); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Mini buttons (Grandma's Button bag); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue all, Glue Dots); Color (Copic Markers);

Grace Girl
Hello! Here's a new stamp that comes from Starving Artistamps Doodle Factory. It's part of the Grace Girls set. I really like this set, too quirky, even with the fish. The saying is from a different stamp set. Hope the new week is going well. I managed to get my walking in last night before any storm hit Austin. Clouds were getting dark though. I do hope for the rain, maybe it will happen tonight and bring some coolness to us.

Sunday Angel
Here's the sunday angel card. The cute stamp comes from Sugar Nellie's Gorjuss Girls stamps. I hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday.
Bless you! It's not just for sneezes, though funny, how true is this saying. Perhaps we should be saying Bless You a lot more often. I have changed out the poll for the "Card of the Week", you can now vote on the new poll in the column on the right hand side of the screen. Last week's selection was pretty overwhelming for the Gorjuss Girl in purple. She has been given a place of honor on the sidebar (as you scroll down, you can see all the visitor selections for Card of the Week); So check out the cards and make your vote.

Cardstock (Bazzill); Stamps (Gorjuss Girl-Sugar Nellie; Sentiment- Starving Artistamps; Ink (Versafine, Vivid!); Color (Derwent Inktense, Copic E00); Button (Cross-Dress it up);

I give a hoot!
Hootie Hoo, Everybody! I hope you are all having a great day. This cute little guy comes from the Doodle Factory line at Starving Artistamps. I think he's adorable. His name is Esme. (It would take forever to find on their www, so if you are looking for him, he's on the Doodlefactory Valentine's Remix set!)
The flowers on the tree remind me of a pond in downtown Huntsville, Alabama that was surrounded by beautiful flowering trees. The flowers were all over. I have photos of my husband tossing rocks into the pond, the whole background from the ground to the sky was covered in flowers.
