Joy

Here's an adorable image using a set from Melonheadz called Christmas Elves (Line art).  Line art means that they come uncolored and I colored them myself.  You can also buy them in a colored version.  I created this cute card for the ongoing contest over at Outlawz Monday Greetings challenge.  The current challenge is ANYTHING GOES.  So please drop by over at outlawz and share a card with the Monday Greetings group.

You can share any card you like as long as it has a greeting on the front of the card, be it a greeting in the image, a greeting you wrote on the front, a greeting on an embellishment or a stamped greeting.  We can't wait to see what you make.  You have just a couple days left to join in!

Skull Card

Here's a quick and cute skull card using an image from Melonheadz. I am using some clear embossed paper from Bazzill and plain black cardstock as the base.  I just got some awesome skulls while I was on vacation this summer in Istanbul, some skull shirts, skull crystals, skull charms, even a skull pencil bag to keep my beads in.  Too fun.  Will have to take some photos for you to see.  The one thing I couldn't find was skull lace or ribbon, though I did by some skull patches and stickers
Hope everyone is safe, I know many people in the USA are in harm's way due to the hurricane.  Texas sized hugs and prayers for all of you!

Feelin' a little witchy? and some guest art from Maddie

Here's an adorable card using a great set called Feeling Witchy from Melonheadz.  We are going to have a brand new contest starting tomorrow morning at Outlawz for the Monday Greetings Challenge group.  The theme is Orange or Black.  As you can see, I am using both, and of course, I have included a wonderful greeting that comes with the set from Melonheadz.

Drop by the challenge over at Outlawz and join in the fun.  We can't wait to see your color creations this week.  Halloween colors are my favorite, but I will say that you don't have to make anything in Halloween theme, as long as you us orange or black colors.  ANY theme is great.  See you there!

Here's a special guest to the blog today, her name is Maddie, age 6.  She lives in my neighborhood and I met her while walking around.  She was having an Art Sale in her front yard.  There was so many lovely projects done by her and her siblings.  Here's the one I bought.

It's her and her family in a car being chased by a Nacho!

Please take a second and leave some kind words for Maddie.

Happy Fall

Here's the cutest images from Melonheadz, it comes in a wonderful set called Happy Fall filled with images including the three images I used for this card.  The lovely stair step card that I made here is done with a die cut from Spellbinders and floral dies from Tattered lace.  The challenge over on the Outlawz Monday Greetings challenge is to include some Twine on your fall theme card.

The image above is how the card looks when it is closed.  It will fit in an A2 envelope (standard 1/4 sheet envelope).  Below is what the card looks like when opened up.

Here's a side angle so you can see how I decorated the steps on the card.
I hope this card gives you a little inspiration for the challenge, there's three different prizes available this week, so please share a card using Autumn colors and twine, plus of course, a sentiment.  The contest will end on Sunday.  We can't wait to see all of your creations.

Cheers, Holley

Happy Monday everyone!  Outlawz is starting a brand new Monday greetings challenge today.  I am using adorable images from Melonheadz stamps called Corinne's Raggie Babies.  This is a huge set of 10 adorable images, that come in both as line drawings as well as colored images, so you get 20 images for $7.  I am using two of the images on this card, Patsy and Tony wahwah.  The images I used are black and white, which I colored myself with copic Markers.  The theme for Monday greetings this week is called "Happiness is"  for these kiddos, I chose, "my favorite toy."

Check out the Outlawz Challenge and join in with a Happiness is card to tell us what the source of your happiness is!  The only requirement is that you use a sentiment on the card.

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill Swiss, Neenah, DCWV); Images (Mellonheadz); Sentiments (Computer generated); Diecuts (Spellbinders nestabilities); Bling (Michaels); Ink (Colorbox Chalk); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (pop dots, Glue dots, Glue all);
