On this day of 9/11

 Happy Wed everyone.  I can't believe this is the anniversary of 9/11.  What a shocking day.  I still remember being at home and having a friend drop something off in the morning and tell me that a plane hit the world trade center.  I told her, no, that can't be right, it must have been some small bi-wing aircraft.  Then I went into my apartment and turned on the tv.  By the time I turned on the TV the third plane had hit the pentagon.  It was a horrible shock that America was under real attack.  We all know how the rest of this day progressed.  I am thankful that I live and breathe in America today.  I am so sorry for those who lost their loved ones on 9/11 and in the aftermath that came to NYC.

 Happy Birthday Ms Green!  Woo Hoo. She is a wonderful person and a very valuable lady who does a lot of work at my school.  We all love her dearly.  I hope you have a very special day.

Happy Saturday everyone.  I hope you are looking forward to a nice weekend. I know I am.  It's probably good that we start off the year with a four day week, so it's a tiny bit easier on the kiddos.  This coming week will be five days and then labor day holiday will give us a four day week.

Hey Dude!

Just 6 more school days until vacation.  I know all the kids and faculty are getting restless now.  It's nice that this year they are letting us out before Memorial Day.  Next year we will be in school all the way until the end of May (BOO!)  Today is Tuesday which means it's my special day with only one male student.  He likes me to drawn train tracks on the table and we have good fun driving the train around and adding things onto our map.
