Wishing a dear friend's son, Cemil, a very Happy Birthday today. I have know his mom for wow, 32 year. We met when I was in college. I remember when she had her son. Now of course he is grown up and married. What a great man he is now. I see him when I visit Istanbul, he has a lovely wife and good job. I wish him the best for his Birthday.

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are getting excited about next month's celebration. I know I am. Just 11 days until that, then a month of celebration, then two weeks to spring break, then 9 weeks to TURKIYE!! Comes so quick. Well, maybe not that quick there is so much that needs to happen between then and now, namely I have to sell a TON (ok not a metric ton) but a LOT of lace before i go so I can buy more. ha ha. It's time for the big 53! lol I've been claiming 53 or 54 lol all year long so most people don't realize i'm only 52. Now when I tell them I am really 53, they will be like, WHAT?!? Heck, I just round up a couple years all the time. I FEEL like I am a few years older. HA!

This is finer thinner type lace, i have added three new batches of lace to the store!

Happy Halloween! I wish like when I was a kid I could say all the kiddos got to come to school in costume, but my district doesn't allow that anymore. I won't say I understand or even know the district policy so I am not criticizing either way on this policy only stating that I wish the kiddos could have memories like I did.

Here's a cutie from Pink&Main. I made this card for the DH as he gets ready to go on a short trip. Yep, he won't be here when I leave for Turkiye! This is pretty much our goodbye for the two months. I hope he has a fun and safe trip. Love you dear. See you at the end of July! Kisses
Is it nap time yet? well, I must confess on Friday's naps are like my favorite thing to do! Then I get up and start playing, ok working by cutting up lace for the weekend. I love this cutie from Pink & Main. What a darling little doggie. I finished off this card with some great confetti bones and Turkish lace!
