Epilepsy Awareness Month-- BLOG CANDY

Happy November everyone.  As you may or may not know, it's officially Epilepsy Awareness Month!!  Hence the purple.  I will have a couple Purple cards this month and each PURPLE card or special card day will have a prize associated.   This is an awesome image from Francis Mary of Kathy Cyr, check out her works HERE
I do have prizes both for my friends abroad, as well as my friends inside the USA, so let me first put a sign up here, well two sign ups so everyone can be eligible.

For those inside the USA, I have this wonderful prize, right in time for Christmas, it's a great Christmas stamp and die set from Tim Holtz!  There's a couple other prizes for other days....

For those international, I have other smaller dies and some digi stamps.  The die can be mailed in a flat card, so no extra postage!  The digi stamps will be sent via the customer.  Prizes will get picked at different times this month so list your names here, and watch the postings during the month to see the announcements of the winners on a couple different days.....you can always add your name here at any time of the month.  I will do drawings during a couple times of the month using these lists here.

Be sure to check in on the days this month to watch for the PURPLE!!

Francis Mary

About a week ago I was contacted by an artist whose images I just love.  I used to buy her stamps and do design team cards with her images when I was with Queen Kat.  The artist is Kathy Cyr of Francis Mary.  She's got a new store opened up!  Here's a great image that she sent me called Halloween 6.  How cute is this?  Check out all of her images on the Francis Mary site.
I have another cute image that I will be sharing soon!

Cheers, Holley

Here's a great winter card using a wonderful winter image from Queen Kat  artist Kathy Cyr.  This fun duo is Francis Mary and Cornelius and is called Sledding.  I decided to change it up and color it pinks today and so a monotone card with pinks and black.  Isn't she adorable in that color?

Drop by the Queen Kat store and check out all of Kathy Cyr's images.  She has a whole bunch of adorable Francis Mary and Cornelius images as well as several other fun images!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I know this doesn't seem like a thanksgiving card, but now that it's here, I figure I will go ahead with the Christmas cards.  I have already shown some Christmas cards, but I have also be showing lots of wonderful fall and thanksgiving cards too.  This fun image comes from Kathy Cyr and is called Sledding.  So adorable. I decided to color her up in blue and make a blue card to match.
The card is meant to stand up on the desk and will fit perfectly in a 5.5 in envelope.  Can't you just imagine this pair out and about handing out Christmas cheer to everyone?

Bundled Up

Here's a wonderful image from Queen Kat artist Kathy Cyr.  This cute image is called Bundled Up.  Queen Kat is having this Christmastime in Summer fun this month, showing many brand new Christmas theme stamps so that crafters who love to make their Christmas cards can get a jump on their holiday creations.  Isn't that clever?  This artist makes the most adorable images of this cute girl and her cat, called Francis Mary and Cornelius

Be sure and check out Kathy Cyr's other stamps in both rubber stamp and digi-stamp format at the Queen Kat store.  She has a bunch of adorable Francis Mary and Cornelius stamps that are too adorable, I own several of them, my fav is called "Hello" probably closely followed by the one where they are both dressed as Ballerinas!

It's Christmas time in summer!

Well, perhaps we are not really having any Christmas time weather here in summer, but we can be making our Christmas theme cards now.  Queen Kat is releasing a bunch of new Christmas theme stamps this month including this adorable image from artist Kathy Cyr.  It's part of the Francis Mary & Cornelius collection and is called Bundled up.  It will be released in early July.

I know lots of stampers who make it their goal to create a handful of Christmas cards every month so that when the holidays get here and they are so busy, they already have a wonderful selection of cards to give out.  What a nice idea.  Drop by the Queen Kat store and check out this month's release of brand new Christmas theme stamps.  I have a bunch of new cards to share too.

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill, Neenah, Mica from Paper Temptress); Stamp (Queen Kat); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cut (Nellie Snellen); Embossed Stickers (Pebbles); Adhesives (glue all, pop dots); Color (Copic Markers);
