Off I go....I am my dreams

Here's the perfect card for today. I am taking off for vacation. I thought this ribbon was just perfect, it's the skyline of Istanbul!  How cool is that?  The sentiment says "I am my dreams."  So true for today.  The flight will be quite long. It's over 9 hours on the first flight, a UGH, 7 hour layover and then 4 more hours to get to Istanbul by MIDNIGHT the following day.

So ready though!  It will be a difficult time change though.  Wish me luck!

LOVE

Here's a beautiful image from artist Kenny K.  I love his fun and sexy women stamps.  They are just perfect for making cards for the hubby.  This one is called Mae Western.  I wish he was still selling his stamps but he recently stopped doing stamps to pursue other business ventures.
Hope you are having a wonderful December, I can't believe that Thanksgiving is over and December is started.  Woah, time is just flying by!

Just a few more days until the holiday!  Have a great weekend everyone.

Halloween Love

Here's a sexy lady that I made for my husband for Halloween time.  I thought he would like this costume, though I must say in real life, not my costume of choice.  Boots with that length and heel height, I would fall down instantly, lol!

This image comes from Kenny K, so sad that he closed up his stamp shop to work on other projects, but I still love to make projects with his fun images.  Hope you are all getting some great crafting in this week.

Hella Enchated

Well, now that Sept is upon us, I thought I might start to sneak in a couple of Halloween cards.  This is KINDA a Halloween card, though it's very much not a typical color Halloween theme card.  This image comes from Kenny K and is called Hella Enchanted.  I so miss Kenny K selling stamps now, but I wish him and his family the best.

Hope you like this card and I hope I have the time this year to create some more fun Halloween theme cards as you guys know how much I love Halloween!!

Thanks to everyone who has inquired because they know I live in Central Texas.  My area got substantial rains but was not as serious as the Houston or Coastal regions of Texas that were just devastated.  Please send all your positive thoughts and prayers to those in the affected area!

Thanks!  Holley

You are an artist!

Here's a great image from Kenny K. I love his images.  She's great, if only I had a copic marker that huge!  This is probably the first year I didn't get any copics or copic refills for Christmas.  I don't know how much cardmaking I will be doing if I get the job soon,  I will always be doing some, but I have been hard core with projects everyday for so many years now....it will be weird, huh?

As the card says, "You can do anything, you are an artist!"  Go out and do things everyone!  LOL

Having fun together!

Here's an awesome image from Kenny K that I used to make my Hubby a card.  I know I just made him one because of my anniversary, but we had such a good time I just had to make him something special.  I can't believe that next year will mark 20 years (only 15 married).
Hope you are having a great week, first week of May, how did it get here so quick?

Have a great day everyone!

Love

Happy Monday everyone!  It's time for the Outlawz Monday Greetings challenge.  This week our sponsor is Kenny K. I am using this stunning image called Caberet.  Isn't she gorgeous? You all know I love to make sexy cards for my hubby.  I am using a gorgeous word die cut and a beautiful die cut from Tattered Lace to go with it.  The theme is circles, so you will see circles all over my card this week.

I hope you will create a fun card and join in our challenge.  As always, be sure to include a greeting on your card somewhere, even something as simple as "love" like I did.  I can't wait to see what you create.

Cheers, Holley

You're gonna shine!

Here's a great image from Kenny K today.  I am loving this fun image.  You're gonna shine.  I wish it was a bit warmer here and I could dress up just like her...well, perhaps not in a skirt that short!  Though, I would wear socks that long...maybe even longer, I like them a bit above my knee to keep my knees warm too!

Hope everyone is getting ready for a wonderful thanksgiving holiday.  Have a great time!

Cheers, Holley

Delores Dammage....

Here's a hot girl from Kenny K!  Gotta like some of the images he comes out with. These are the images that make the hubby go hubba hubba.  If only I could find some arm bands like that...I would totally wear those.  Those plus those dangling skull earrings....

Hope you are having a great week.  Make a fun card and give it to your significant other.

Meet Jayne

Meet Jayne Jettpack from Kenny K.  This artist has some of the hottest stamps out there. He's the artist who made the stamp that I used for my Anniversary Card to my husband last month (Lady Raven--click here if you missed it).  This cool stamp is called Jayne Jettpack.  Now, as a rocket scientist, ok, as an engineer who worked for NASA, you know I have a thing for rocket science.  So I had to get this stamp!  I added a great saying from Cosmo Cricket "She loved to dream because in her dreams, She could fly."
Here's a close up of my stamp coloring:
Hope this card made you smile today.  If only I had a jetpack to take me around town....

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill, Neenah);  Image (Kenny K); Ink (Colorbox Chalk); Die Cut (Spellbinders Nestabilities); Lace (Hobby Lobby); Bling (Michaels); Saying (Cosmo Cricket); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue dots, Glue All, Ribbon Glue); Color (Copic Markers);

Happy Anniversary John!

Celebrating a special day today, here's a card that I made for my hubby.  I was inspired by a card from Craftylollea's Blog using this stamp and I knew that was the image I wanted to get for the anniversary card.  She's Lady Raven from Kenny K.  Here's my card with Lady Raven, hope the hubby loves it.
Saying in yellow above "Your love is my light, sun of all my mornings, fire of all my nights."
I just love this artist, Kenny K stamps, he does all different types, but really has some gorgeous woman stamps

Here's a peek on the inside of the card, I rarely take an image of the card's insides to show on my blog
Off I go to celebrate a special day. I can't think of a person I would rather be with.  Each year gets better and  better.  Love you John.

Hot Stuff!

Here's a great image from Kenny K. I love his wonderful line of stamps. I thought this cute saying from The Greeting Farm went perfect with this girl. As you know, vacation is over. I have returned from Istanbul back home to Texas. I got some wonderful ribbons and embroidery that you will soon be seeing in my works. I bought some fun things to use on a scrapbook, but didn't see any type of rubber stamps or real scrapbooking supplies other than childrens stickers. Had a wonderful time. Definitely worth the trip!
Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, Neenah, DCWV); Rubber Stamps (girl-KennyK; saying-Greeting Farm); Ink (Memento); Punch (Fiskars); Bling (Michaels); DieCut (Spellbinders Nestabilites); Adhesives (Popdots, Glue All); Color (Copic Markers);
