To General S. Cooper, Adjutant and Inspector-General:
General — I have the honor to transmit duplicates of papers already sent to General Bragg, touching amended reports of the battle of Shiloh, and to request that my amended report be substituted for the original in the publication ordered by Congress, in the event that the report sent General Bragg should not reach Richmond in time for that purpose.To General S.
