'Prostitutes on Google Street View'

The world wide web is a wonderful thing and here's something that makes you go 'huh!'.

Visboo's 'Prostitutes on Google Street View', thre's plenty of the sort of image that you would expect such as these two...

But there's also a rather odd 'plastic chair' theme running through many of the photos, here's one of those...
Nice of him to carry her chair, isn't it? I assume that it's her chair unless he carried one with him!

God's pliers?

I have previously remarked on the odd things you see on Google Maps and Google StreetView so these giant pliers sightings were right up my street (so to speak).

Either God was doing some DIY or someone left some pliers rather close to the Google StreetView camera on top of this car.

StreetView Fun has some more odd spots, with their number one unsurprisingly being this 'lady' in Homewood, Illinois looking for fame...And there's lot more of that type of shot elsewhere on StreetView Fun.

Google Street Maps

Google Street Maps, have you used it yet? Absolutely brilliant albeit a trifle scary.

I note that already we cannot see a lot of Whitehall, presumably Gordon Brown wants to keep the location of his bunker a secret; although we can see the Houses of Parliament, I suppose Gordon Brown has already written off that symbol of democracy.

As an aside, it is interesting that this massive private enterprise image database is up and running and accessible by thousands (maybe millions) of people at a time. Maybe the Labour Government could learn something from this private sector IT project, but somehow I doubt that they will.
