Festive Wreath Week - Day 1

October 23, 2017

Hi everyone!  This week we are featuring projects from our cute Festive Wreath stamp and die set.  I love how this set is so whimsical and fun!  I hope that you enjoy the projects from our fabulous design team this week.

Yainea is here to kick this week off!  Take a peek!

Hello there!

It's Yainea here today with a Christmas card featuring the gorgeous Festive Wreath stamps and dies. I started my card by stamping some of the included images on watercolor paper and coloring them with Distress inks. I rubbed the ink pads on an acrylic block and colored the images with a brush adding some water to the inks, using them as regular watercolors.

When the ink was dry, I used the coordinating dies and my die cutting machine to die cut all the images. For the sentiment, I used a banner from and stamped one of the sentiments included in the Festive Wreath set, with a partial stamping techinque.

I then die cut my background paper with the dies and adhere everything on top. As a finishing touch I used my Wink of Stella pen and some Glossy accents on the berries but it's difficult to see the sparkling on the pictures.

I hope you feel inspired to go to your crafty space and create some Christmas cards with this beautiful set! ;)
Have a nice day!

Frosty Friends Week - Day 3

October 4, 2017

Hello!  Amy K. here with a card that will take you back to old vintage holiday cards.  I love old cards and I have some from my grandmas era that I kept when we were going through her things.

Frosty Friends

Using Frosty Friends, I colored Mr.Snowman in using N1, N3, N5, N7 and a gold Wink of Stella pen.  I also colored the North Pole sign using R27 and BG0000 and B00.  The chunky "snow" you see is Stampendous Chunky White Deep Impression Embossing Enamel.  I love to break this out for wintery cards!  TIP:  Just remember to emboss it on the BACKSIDE of your paper!

Frosty Friends3

For my background, I've simply swiped my Versamark ink pad over a piece of cardstock and added Princess Gold Embossing Powder from Ranger and embossed.  I diecut this panel with the scalloped rectangle die from Sweet Scallops Elle-ments.  You may notice that this panel is "smaller" than the die.  I simply die cut it several times making it the size I want!  I added a snow drift hill using the Picket Fence Elle-ments.  To finish, I stamped and embossed the sentiment and star with the same Princess Gold embossing powder and added Mr. Snowman with foam adhesive.

Winter Woodland Wonders Week - Day 3

September 20, 2017

Hello!  Amy K. here with a layered Christmas shaker card that is full of glittery fun!
It was time to get out my coarse "chunky" Martha Stewart glitter for a winter wonderland scene.

Winter Wonderland Wonders

Using the Winter Wonderland Wonders stamp set and coordinating Winter Wonderland Wonders Elle-ments, I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut my main images.  For my birch tree, I actually stamped it onto some light gray cardstock and did some no line coloring to make it appear like a birch tree.  It's hard to see but I did create layers of snow banks inside my shaker card using the Picket Fence Elle-ments.  My shaker card was created with the help of the Sweet Scallops Elle-ments.

Little extras were adding the white dots to my images using a white pigment pen.  It gives that perfect little touch!
