Two Adorable Holiday Cards By Elena

December 4, 2020

Hello!  While we are getting ready for our next release on December 10th I will be featuring some of my favorite Design Team projects from our Fall release.  They are so amazing and they are worth taking a second look!  I cannot wait to show you the 6 stamp sets and 5 die sets that we have coming out on December 10th.   They are sooo good! In the meantime, enjoy these great projects by Elena!

Hi there!

I have 2 cards to share with you today, and both mix and match 2 sets from our current release: Santa Jaws and Joyeux Narwhal.

This first card is my fave! I did some ink blending on the background layer, darker around the edges, blending to a highlight in the middle. I wanted to really make Santa Jaws the star of this show! All of the other sea friends are coming to see what he has for them, hee hee.

My favorite animal from Joyeux Narwhal is this sweet sea-turtle. ack! Isn't he so cute? I stamped him x3 and added a sentiment to the bottom of the card to balance things out. Behind the turtles, I used a sheet of bubble paper from The Holiday Collection Paper Pad, and used the Waves die to cut it out. The effect is very "deep-sea" - no?

I hope you like my cards for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Santa Jaws &Joyeux Narwhal With Heather

November 12, 2020

Hello everyone! It's Heather Campbell here and today I've got another two project post for you! However, I've also got a video for you too - so don't forget to watch that too!

First up, Santa Jaws. I must say, Santa Jaws is probably the set I was most excited to play with come this release. I could barely decide what shark I wanted to play with when it came time to create this project.

Here's my first card...

To create this card, I created an ink blended background and then

I added some gel pen and glossy accents to top off this card. So fun, right!?

Next up - Joyeux Narwhal!
Instead of a card, I decided to create some fun tags with the very fun Holiday Circle Tags.

Now for the video...

Santa Jaws & Joyeux Narwhal With Katie

November 10, 2020

Hello friends,

Katie here to share greetings of the "sea-son." I have two cards featuring the underwater friends from the Santa Jaws and Joyous Narwhal stamp sets.

First is a card featuring the friendly sharks from the Santa Jaws set. I stamped the images and some of the accessories on white cardstock and colored in the images with Comic markers.

I die cut the stamped images and blended a panel of water color card stock with Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean. I used the Sea Scene Elle-ments die to cut the blended panel. I adhered the die cut to a white card base, added my stamped images and stamped the sentiment in black ink.

Supplies:

My second card uses the Joyeux Narwhal stamp set. I blended a watercolor panel with several shades of Distress Oxide ink and layered white card stock die cut with the Waves Elle-ments die.

I stamped the critters onto white card stock and colored them with Copic markers before die cutting them with the coordinating Elle-ments die and adhering them to the card. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. As a finishing touch, I added a few clear sequins.

That's all for me today! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Mice and Peek-A-Boo Holiday Tag Toppers With Amy

October 30, 2020

Hello!

Amy here with a TWOfer today!

This past release was fantastic and these two sets were at the top of my favorite list!

Seriously, how cute are these Christmas Mice with their huge ears?  Merry Christmouse!  I thought it would be fun to create a shaker with these mice.  Using the Double Pierced Rectangle Elle-ments, I created a frame using the two largest dies.  I added my frame with foam adhesive over a Worn Lipstick Distress Ink blended background that was filled with chunky glitter.  The festive little mice were Copic colored, die cut, and added to the front of the frame with foam adhesive.  To the corners of the frame, a few holly, from Joyeux Narwhal, were added.

My second card uses the very popular Peek-A-Boo critters but this time in paper pieced form!  I put together the moose and added rainbow holiday bulbs on the antlers.  The background was created using the snowflake stamps from the Holiday Circle Tags.  The snowflakes were white heat embossed and using emboss resist, the Salty Ocean Distress Ink was blended over the top.  Using Salty Ocean Distress Ink, the ink was blended over the bottom of the Happy Holidays die.

The sentiment die was added over the heat embossed background.  The moose was added over the top of the "Y" in Happy.  To finish, a few white details were added to the bulbs and moose.

Jingle With Ashley

October 8, 2020

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Jingle plus some fun friends from Joyeux Narwhal

I started by cutting my custom card, 4.25 inches by 6.5 inches. Next, I cut a blue panel for my ocean and inked it. Then I stamped, die cut a colored the ocean animals along with the seaweed and holly.

I then adhere all the animals. stamped and colored in the bubbles. Finally, I stamped "jolly" and "be". I love this big sentiment. It is so on trend and I love the hand lettering!
