Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Sending Flowers!

To create my card I heat embossed images from Sending Flowers, die cut them and used Distress Oxides to add color. I also made created several flowers and leaves that were just stamped with black ink and die cut. Next, I arranged them on my card base. Finally, I heat embossed and die cut the "thanks" sentiment.

Peek-A-Boo Coaster with Amy

August 31, 2020

Hello!  While we are getting ready for our next release on Sept 24th I will be featuring some of my favorite Design Team projects from our Summer release.  They are so amazing and they are worth taking a second look!  I cannot wait to show you the 14 stamp sets and 15 die sets that we have coming out on September 24th.   They are sooo good! In the meantime, enjoy this great project by Amy!

Hello!
I'm here today with some fun images to remind us that summer is still in full force!
The Peek-a-Boo sets from Avery Elle are some of my favorites.  This past release included Peek-a-Boo Coaster and Peek-a-Boo Boat.

PeekABoo Coaster

I'm a sucker for an awesome roller coaster!  The thrill is so much fun.  Peek-a-Boo Coaster was paired here with the Cloud Mat Elle-ments.  The sky was ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink blending from the center out.  The Cloud Mat Elle-ments was layered over the top leaving out some of the lower clouds.  The roller coaster was added to the bottom along with a white heat embossed sentiment strip.  The clouds as well as the Copic colored skunk, owl, and coaster cars were added with foam adhesive.

Peek-A-Boo Boat & Coaster Week - Day 2

July 28, 2020

Hello!
Amy here today with some fun images to remind us that summer is still in full force!  The Peek-a-Boo sets are some of my favorites.  This release included Peek-a-Boo Coaster and Peek-a-Boo Boat.

One of our favorite summer activites used to be to go to Schlitterbahn to float around all day on a tube.  I couldn't pass up this cute whale image paired with the inner tube from Peek-a-Boo Boat!

I started with ink blending several colors of yellow Distress Inks onto a panel and then ran this panel through with the Ray Elle-ments.  I cut a wave for the bottom of my panel using the Summer Scene Elle-ments.  The Copic colored images were added with foam adhesive.  A few droplets and some white pigment dots were added for fun touch!

Two Fabulous Cards By Caryn

July 13, 2020

Hello there, Caryn here today sharing two cards featuring some fabulous products from the latest Summer release.

The first card features two new sets - Big Congrats and Poppies.  I thought it was high time I dusted off my Avery Elle Liquid Watercolours and the Poppy images in this set are perfect to show off the delicate colours and effects you can create.

First I stamped the the poppy garland image in Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I "coloured in" the image with plain water to begin with so I could drop tiny amounts of the liquid watercolour onto the design.  I love the way the two colours merge and mingle together creating an almost translucent appearance - just like a real poppy!  I used Cherry and Fizz liquid watercolours on the flowers and a combination of Lemongrass and Jungle  for the foliage.

I set the image aside to dry and then die cut the Congrats die from the Big Congrats set in white.  I was going to leave. it like that for a tone on tone effect but I decided it needed a bit "more" so added versamark to the bottom half and then heat embossed it in gold for a dipped effect.  I stamped and heat embossed the "So Happy For You" block also.

Finally I assembled my card.  I wanted the card to be a bit bigger than the standard A2 size so I created a custom size of 4' x 7'.  This gave my design a much better look and allowed me no avoid the card looking crowded.  Sometimes we forget we can create a card ANY size we like, lol!  I added the die cut floral image using foam tape and the congrats sentiment die cuts using liquid adhesive.  For a final flourish I added some enamel dots to tie in the gold on the sentiment.

My second card today is a bit more childlike and features the fabulous Unicycle stamp set.  It would be great for a little boy and I happen to have a nephew with a birthday coming up soon so this should come in handy!

I cut a panel of the blue star paper from the Spring Collection paper pad and adhered it to the A2 white card base.  I then stamped the cute rhino and unicycle along with the wee birthday cake and coloured them using Copics.

I die cut the images, adhered them to the card and stamped the sentiment.
Whenever I see the chance to use a pom pom on a card I don't waste it so his hat just had to have one!

Thinking Of You By Caryn

May 29, 2020

Caryn created this gorgeous thinking of you card.  I just love it. Check it out! - Jamie

Hey there, I'm over on the Avery Elle Blog today with a card featuring a fabulous little set called You've Got This.   It has a gorgeous feature sentiment that also has a two-layered accompanying die and then lots of great encouraging extra sentiments for lots of different (and difficult) occasions.

I started with a white card base and blended some Lemon Grass and Sea Glass inks to give a little colour to the background.  I then took some aqua coloured cardstock and made a panel using the Embellished Heart die to make an aperture.  I wrapped some Midnight Twine around the panel then popped it on the card front using foam tape.

I finished off the card by die-cutting the two layers of the sentiment in black and white card and adhered it across the heart aperture.

Simply Said Bright with Katie

May 6, 2020

Kaite created this next card.  She debuted it back in January but it is still just as fabulous today!

"Hello friends,

Happy Friday and Happy New Year! I am on the Avery Elle blog today with a card bearing best wishes for a BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL day featuring the new Cloud Mat Elle-ments die.

I have so much love for this die. Clouds make the BEST backgrounds for cards. For my card, I blended Distress Ink onto a panel of water color card stock in rainbow colors. Next I die-cut the panel using the Cloud Mat die. I set aside the rainbow background for used on another card and preserved the cloud die cuts.

I die cut a panel of white card stock using the same Cloud Mat die and then carefully in-laid the clouds. I paired this background with the Simply Said: Bright Clear Stamps and Coordinating Elle-ments dies. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments using Avery Elle's Rose Gold metallic Embossing Powder to enhance the card's rosy glow.

That's all for me today. I hope that this card makes your day a little brighter!

Loads Of Happy Week - Day 4

March 12, 2020

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing Loads of Happy  paired with a few other sets!

I started this card with the unicorn and bumper car from Peek a Boo Fair. I knew I wanted to use a Loads of Happy sentiment but by starting with the images I was able to establish colors and layout. Next, I heat embossed the large happy birthday sentiment from the Loads of Happy stamp set. The font style is perfect and trendy and the size is so fun to work with. The card needed a little bit more so I added the balloons from Sweet Swines. Finally, I stamped a few starts from Peek a Boo Fair.

I'm so glad I have a card to add to my Birthday card stash. I love having several available for all of the upcoming birthdays!

Thanks for stopping by!

Astronauts Week - Day 2

March 3, 2020

Hi there!

It's Yainea here to share with you a card featuring the fantastic Astronauts stamp set and coordinating dies. Galaxy and starry skies on cards are always a favorite of mine so I enjoyed so much creating this card.

I started by created the background with watercolors, mixing different shades of blues and purples. Than I sprinkled some watercolor and white paint on top.

The images were colored with alcohol markers and the sentiment heat embossed with Avery Elle white embossing powder. When all the elements on the card were put together, I applied some glossy accents on the rocket window and helmet to add more intrerest. It's hard to see on the picture but it looks very cool in real life.

I hope you like my card and feel inspired to create something today! Have a wonderful day! :)

Wheelie Great - Day 5

January 24, 2020

Hello!  Amy here alongside Ashley today with more inspiration with the stamp set Wheelie Great.  What I love about this mini set is that there are so many little stamps to embellish a scene for a birthday or every day!

I created a cheerful card using the Ray Elle-ments for my background.  I ink blended some yellow Distress Inks onto a panel and then die cut using the Ray Elle-ments.  Inside the circle cut out, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink was blended.  After Copic coloring my images, they were die cut and added with foam adhesive along with a sentiment strip to ground my image.

Thanks Thanks Week - Day 3

December 18, 2019

Hello friends,

Katie here with a colorful card featuring the Thanks Thanks clear stamps.

I wanted to incorporate a lot of the great sentiments included in the Thanks Thanks set, so I paired colored card stock with heat embossing to make a simple and graphic card.

I stamped each of the sentiments with Versamark on colored card stock, and I heat embossed each sentiment with the Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I trimmed each piece of card stock into strips and lined up the strips to create the striped design.

That's all for me today, but you are in for a treat today- more Thanks Thanks inspiration from Amy Kolling!

Hello!  Amy here with a card for the upcoming holidays.  We all have so much to be thankful for during the holidays.  I already have someone in mind for this card!

Using the Holiday Bouquet set from a few years ago, the large poinsettia image was Copic colored with light pink color.  Glossy accents were added to the flower centers and the tiny tips of the berries.

Thanks Thanks

My holiday flower was added with foam adhesive to a side folding note card that was stamped with the sentiment from Thanks, Thanks in bold black ink.  I surrounded the sentiment with the frame from Plus Frame Elle-ments in white.  As a final touch, I added a few pink gems.

Thanks Thanks Week - Day 1

December 16, 2019

It's Caryn here today with a card that is always useful to have in your stash - a thank you card.  I've used the new Thanks Thanks stamp set which has a great selection of sentiments in a large scale which is perfect for the focal point of a card.

Those of you with an eagle eye will remember I used the Cloud Mat die on THIS card in the Winter release blog hop.  As I mentioned in that post, I saved the "negative" part of the patterned paper From the Create Magic Card Kit) and the positive part of the white card (the clouds) and have created a second, reversed card (two for the price of one)!

I pieced the clouds into the patterned paper and adhered them for the background of the card.  I cut a strip of vellum and stamped the second of the THANKS sentiments in versamark and embossed it in silver embossing powder.  I then stamped the "for your kindness" and embossed in New Moon pigment ink and embossed it in clear embossing powder.  I then wrapped the vellum strip around the front of the card and adhered it on the inside so there is no need to hide and adhesive on the front.

To finish I added a few enamel dots in silver sparkle  below the banner, I thought they looked a wee bit like rain drops!!

Supplies:

Create Magic Card Kit (for the star patterned paper)
Silver Embossing Powder (retired)

Hooray Week - Day 5

December 13, 2019

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing the Hooray stamp set. I love these big bold sentiments! Let's take a look...

First, I started my card by stamping "thanks" several times in the background. Repeating the sentiment adds interest and color to the card. Next, I have a fun little tip!

I die cut the new large tag die and I heat embossed the "thanks" sentiment. Then I turned the die around and cut off the end top of the tag and it makes a big banner! Fun right? Next, I added the smaller sentiment to the small tag die from the same set and added it to the card. I finished the card with the dolphin from Peek a Boo Summer Pals.

Hooray Week - Day 3

December 11, 2019

Hello!  Amy here sharing a colorful THANKS card that was super quick to make using the amazing pigment inks from Avery Elle!

Inks used:
Magenta
Aquamarine
Lemon Grass
Fizz
Orchid
Pixie
Mimosa
Strawberry

Thanks

The 'thanks' stamp, from Hooray, was stamped repeatedly down a panel of white cardstock, moving the paper up 3/4" each time.  This panel was adhered to white note card that was lined on the left side with a strip of black/white striped paper from The Neutral Collection.

To finish, the sentiments from Hooray were stamped onto Simple Sentiment Elle-ments and adhered with foam adhesive.

Thanks2

Supplies:
The Neutral Collection paper pad (retired)
Pigment Inks (listed above)

Over to Caryn....

I have a very festive take on Hooray stamp set and have paired the "Merry" sentiment with and "oldie but goodie" stamp set, Holiday Bouquet.  This is still one of my go-to sets for Christmas cards, I love to colour the poinsettias in different colours for unique looks.

I stamped and embossed the "Merry" in gold embossing powder then fussy cut around it.  I picked out the Merry Christmas from the Quirky Christmas set (retired) and stamped it in Truffle pigment ink and cut it into a banner.

For the flowers I stamped them in a very light brown ink and then coloured them with Copics for a "no-line" effect and then die cut them using the co-ordinating dies.

To finish I added some shimmer to the flowers and added a splatter of white paint.
