Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals Week - Day 2

October 9, 2018

Elena - Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals

Hi there!

Elena here, with the adorable moose from Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals:

I started out by stamping, die-cutting and coloring the images. That moose is my fave! I gave him a present to hold (from Brring On The Joy) and used a square die to cut into the Snow Tags snowflake.

Once I had the focal image put together, I set it aside to work on the rest of the card. I rubbed blue ink to cover a Wonky Stitches layer, and stamped the greeting (from A Merry Little Christmas) at the bottom. I love the whimsical nature of that sentiment, and I thought it worked so well with the kooky moose (all of those tangled up lights!)

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Snow Tags Week - Day 2

September 11, 2018

Hi there!

Elena here, with a trio of snowflake tags:

I used our Snow Tags stamp set and matching die, and brought in the cutie penguin from Polar Peek-a-boo Pals.  I started out by stamping each snowflake in black ink onto white cardstock. Then, I used a smaller circle die to cut out the middle of each snowflake so that the penguin could come popping out.

I used  B000 and B00 copic markers to color the snowflake and the inside of the circle, and colored the outer ring of the snowflake using an R24 marker. I love the extra pop that it gives!

I colored the penguins using a combo of T0, T1 and T4 copic markers, and gave each penguin a banner flag to hold.  The sentiment is from another penguin set, Brring On The Joy.

The banner die is from the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments set. I love the extra stitching lines on each end!

I hope you like what I've made for you today - thanks for stopping by!

Large Pierced Scallops - Day 5

November 24, 2017

Hi there!

Elena here, with a closer look at the Large Pierced Scallops Rectangle dies.

I created a frame using the large set of dies in the set, and built a little gift-giving scene inside. The penguins from Brring On The Joy are so cute! I love sets that include mirror-imaged critters - it makes it so easy to build little scenes.

I stamped the penguins, two ice-blocks, and two gifts. I nestled them on either side of the scene, and created a backdrop of snow using our Pierced Clouds dies and the rolling hill die from the Picket Fence die collection.

I used a piece of patterned paper (a striped tone-on-tone blue from the Sorbet Collection) and added white gel-pen dots for a snowy background.

The sentiment was heat-embossed onto a flag (from the Pierced Banner Layers collection.)

By propping up the frame with foam adhesive, it makes it look like a little penguin diorama! I hope you like it too, and thanks for stopping by!

Sledding Critters Week - Day 2

September 26, 2017

Hi there!

Elena here, with a fun card featuring Sledding Critters.

I loooved the critters found in the previously-released Birthday Bus, and this one features a few of the same characters. I was so excited to ink them up and start coloring! The bear with the snow goggles? I die.

I colored and die-cut the main image and stamped a greeting from Brring On The Joy directly onto the sled.

To back the critters, I grabbed a sheet of minty cardstock and ran it through the die-cutter using the Falling Snow die. I used it a ton last year and don't see myself putting it out of reach for this holiday season either.

To frame the snow and sledding animals, I layered a Horizontal Stripes die-cut over my white card base. The tone-on-tone isn't busy, but is so much more interesting than just layering onto a plain folded card.

Finally, I stamped a few strings of lights to go across the top, and in the center, a wreath (from Brring On The Joy.)

I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Brring On The Joy Week - Day 5

September 1, 2017

Hi Everyone! Ashley here today sharing Brring on the Joy!

I started my card by stamping and die cutting all of the images from the stamp set. I do this often when I first get a stamp set to play with the stamps and move them around to see how I can use them. Tip: All the pieces I didn't use are tucked away for another project. ;)

I decided to use this penguin to carry the wreath and lights. He is ready to deck the halls! I placed him on the ice and completed my card with one of the great sentiments from the set.

Another tip! I like to use my die cuts to create windows on my cards. On this card I used Wonky Stitches Dies.

Wanna see another penguin card I created? Check it out HERE!

Brring On The Joy Week - Day 4

August 31, 2017

Hey everyone!!!  It's Heather Campbell here and I've got a card with the new Brring On The Joy stamp set!  These penguins absolutely crack me up and I just love all the elements that accompany these skating penguins!

You can see the entire card making process in the video below!

I don't normally share videos of the entire card making process but just couldn't resist here! :)

I used the Wonky Stitches die to create a background and cut stars from the new Cityscapes die.  The banner is from Woodland Wonders and of course all of the penguin elements are from Brring On The Joy!

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!

Brring On The Joy Week - Day 3

August 30, 2017

Hello friends,

Katie here today to some inspiration featuring the Brrring On The Joy stamp set.  Below you can find a list of all the Avery Elle supplies that I used on my card.

I stamped the penguins, wreath, lights, gift and ice drift onto white card stock with Avery Elle's New Moon dye ink and colored in the images with Copic markers.  I die cut all the images using the coordinating Brrring on the Joy Elle-ments dies.

I adhered the images to a panel cut with the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments die and stamped the snowflakes from the stamp set with a light aqua ink.  Below the images, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I love a good pun and this one just makes me laugh!

As a finishing touch, I added a drop of Glossy Accents to each of the bulbs in the holiday light strand. The bulbs look so shiny and bright!

Be sure to watch the Avery Elle blog this week for even more inspiration and ideas featuring Brring on the Joy!

Brring On The Joy Week - Day 2

August 29, 2017

Hi everyone! Elena here, with a fun card featuring the new set, Brring On The Joy:

This set makes me giggle. I really love the way they can be positioned in different ways. This is like penguin-capades, with the one being tossed in the air!

I started out with a piece of mint cardstock, cut to fit the card-front (4.25in x 5.5in.) I then layered a Waves Elle-ments die cut over that. I love the interest and movement that it creates!

The penguins were colored with copic markers. I used T0, T1, and T4 to color the grey penguins, and B34, B37, and B39 to color their navy scarves.

To finish off the card, I cut stars (using dies from the new Festive Wreath Elle-ments) to fill the space above the penguins, and added a punchy black sentiment banner with a white-heat-embossed greeting.

I hope you like my card, and thanks for stopping by!

Brring On The Joy Week - Day 1

August 28, 2017

This week we are featuring products from our Brring On The Joy stamp and die set.  This set is SOOO cute!  We hope that you enjoy the projects everyday this week.

Hello everyone!
It's Yainea here brrringing on the joy with a Christmas card that features the fun and cute Brring On the Joy stamps and dies. I love these penguins, they look like they're rushing to have all the Christmas preparations ready, haha.

I colored the images in my card with watercolor markers and then I used the coordinating dies and my die cutting machine to die cut them.
Then, I prepared my card base: I used an acetate piece where I adhered a pair of stripes of red paper from the Jewel Collection paper pad and another stripe, colored with Distress inks and a blending tool to create a "water" panel to place my penguins.

On the inside, I adhered a panel of white cardstock where I stamped my sentiment and some snowflakes.
Finally, I created my scene, adhering all the images to my card and added some shine and sparkle (this is a Christmas card after all, hehe) with some glossy accents on the candy cane and Christmas lights and some wink of stella touches on the present :)

I hope you like my card for today! Don't forget to keep checking out the Avery Elle blog during all this week for more inspiration using this fun set!

Have a nice day!

Hi Everyone, Ashley here! I LOVE all of the holiday products right now and am super excited to share Warm Wishes with you today. One of the joys of Avery Elle stamps and dies is how well they work together. I'm going to share a fun combo with you today!

To create my card I stamped the large jar from Warm Wishes. Next I masked the bottom and stamped the ice burg from Brring on the Joy. Next I stamped the inside images, the tree from Warm Wishes, the penguin from Brring on the Joy, the lights from Sledding Critters and the star from Festive Wreath. See how well they all work together!

After I colored and die cut the images and die cut the back frame with Diagonal Stripes and Double Pierced Rectangles. The sentiment was embossed on black card stock to finish the card.
