Peek-A-Boo Boat & Coaster Week - Day 2

July 28, 2020

Hello!
Amy here today with some fun images to remind us that summer is still in full force!  The Peek-a-Boo sets are some of my favorites.  This release included Peek-a-Boo Coaster and Peek-a-Boo Boat.

I'm a sucker for an awesome roller coaster!  The thrill is so much fun.  Peek-a-Boo Coaster was paired here with the Cloud Mat Elle-ments.  The sky was ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink blending from the center out.  The Cloud Mat Elle-ments was layered over the top leaving out some of the lower clouds.  The roller coaster was added to the bottom along with a white heat embossed sentiment strip.  The clouds as well as the Copic colored skunk, owl, and coaster cars were added with foam adhesive.

One of our favorite summer activites used to be to go to Schlitterbahn to float around all day on a tube.  I couldn't pass up this cute whale image paired with the inner tube from Peek-a-Boo Boat!

I started with ink blending several colors of yellow Distress Inks onto a panel and then ran this panel through with the Ray Elle-ments.  I cut a wave for the bottom of my panel using the Summer Scene Elle-ments.  The Copic colored images were added with foam adhesive.  A few droplets and some white pigment dots were added for fun touch!

Monkey Sea Monkey Do Week - Day 4

July 9, 2020

Hey everyone! It's Heather here. I'm so excited to be back with a card using the new Monkey Sea, Monkey Do stamp and die set. Aren't these snorkeling monkeys just too cute? Eep, I love them!

For my card, decided to create my own custom background using one of my favorite Avery Elle dies, Summer Scene
It's such a fun technique and so great to stretch your stash. I find I have to buy very few stencils using this trick. Love that - more $$$ to spend on stamps! :)

There you have it!

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!
XOXO,
Heather

CelebRAYtion with Ashley

May 14, 2020

Ashley created this card for us last summer.  Cute right? I just love it. Check it out!

Hi Friends! I'm sharing CelebRAYtion today. I'm lovin' this card so let's JUMP right in...

I started this cool card with a giant wave using the Summer Scene die as a mask. Next, I stamped and die cut two hammer head sharks from CelebRAYtion stamps. They were so fun to color. I love their happy faces.

Next I added a few details with water drops and waves from Pool Party and an embossed sentiment from CelebRAYtion.

CelebRAYtion Week - Day 2

August 14, 2019

Hello!  Amy here today with a card using the CelebRAYtion set.  This stamp set can be used to create a card for anyone!

CelebRAYtion

I started out by Copic coloring my smiling shark friend and adding in darker dots for dimension.  I die cut my shark and rock/seaweed elements with the coordinating CelebRAYtion Elle-ments.  I assembled my card using the wave from Summer Scene Elle-ments that was distressed with a bit of Distress Ink splatter.  The wave was adhered to a white notecard that was ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.  I added my shark and other elements with foam adhesive along with a white heat embossed sentiment using the Simple Sentiments Elle-ments.

Pool Party Week - Day 1

July 31, 2019

Hi there!

Elena here, with a pastel-colored Pool Party card:

I created an aperture by cutting into the white cardstock layer with the Pierced Hexagon die. It allowed me to create this ocean scene with the 2 girls on their floaties.

I splattered the pink sky with a darker pink ink, added some white dots, and cut out layers of waves using the Summer Scene die set. I also set a few clouds into the sky, to break up all of that pink, using dies from the Grand Photo Mat die set.

I'm pretty sure that drink will be floating away but I wish I was there right now!

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Peek-A-Boo Scary Week - Day 2

July 9, 2019

Hi there!

Elena here, with a not-so-scary card featuring the monsters from the Peek-A-Boo Scary stamp set.

I love these adorable monsters! I colored all of them, and some of them twice, to make a cute little tower of monsters.

The one on the top has one paw on his buddy's head and another paw holding up the sentiment sign.  I added a few balloons to make sure you know it's a party and backed the colorful monsters with a layer of black patterned paper (it's a sheet of grid paper that Avery Elle used to make! I want it back!) to make sure they popped.

To finish off, I framed the whole thing out with the Plus Frame die.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello!  Katie also here with more not-so-scary Peek-A-Boo inspiration. Now the Peek-A-Boo Scary Pals have taken their Monster Wishes into the water for a summer pool party bash!

I stamped, colored and die cut the monsters, sign and party hats. I placed them onto a background I created using the Summer Scene Elle-ments die.  The Scary Pals borrowed a floaty from their Summer Pals for the occasion.

The Summer Scene Elle-ments die is perfect for tucking our Scary Pals between the waves. The pals look like they're having a blast bobbing and floating in the water.

Peek-A-Boo Car Week - Day 4

June 28, 2019

Hi Everyone! My kids are out for summer break and we are enjoying so many adventures! Today's card features a dolphin having an adventure of his own! ;)

To create my card I started by stamping, die cutting and coloring the jeep and gift from Peek a Boo Car along with the dolphin from Peek a Boo Pals Summer. Next I die cut Summer Scene dies, inked up several pieces and then layered them in to a scene on my card.

I finished the card with an embossed sentiment from Peek a Boo Car.

Peek-A-Boo Car Week - Day 2

June 25, 2019

Hi there!

Elena here, with a fun card featuring the Peek-A-Boo Car stamp set:

I decided to throw it back to the Peek-A-Boo Pets stamp set and put a cat and dog duo into the car. Of course the cat is driving, and of course the dog has both paw through the windshield  and his whole head out.

I colored the car a bright red, and stuck the cute siren on top. I think that takes this set over-the-top with cuteness!

To create some depth to the entire scene, I placed the present in the back seat, and then backed the car in a piece of vellum. I colored that vellum using a dark grey marker so that it looked more shadowed.

The background was created using the round sun from the Summer Scenes die set, and the polaroid-looking layer that comes with the cute clouds (Grand Photo Mat die set.)

I made sure that the background was as punchy as the bright red car! I selected a vibrant yellow and a vivid blue to make sure that everything really popped against the white polaroid layer.

To ground the card, I adhered everything onto a kraft colored base layer.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Peek-A-Boo Summer Pals Week - Day 5

June 21, 2019

Hi Everyone! I'm super excited to share this fun summer card!

I LOVE the new Peek a Boo Summer Pals stamp set. I started by stamping, die cutting and coloring the three birds in the set.

Next, I made them a fun scene to hang out in. The wave was created with the new Summer Scene wave die. I die cut a mask and then inked the wave. Next, I cut out my own palm branch from masking paper and inked it up a few times to create a tree.

Then, I placed the birds in the scene and added a few splashes from Pool Party Finally, I stamped and die cut "hello" from Peek a Boo Summer Pals and added twine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peek-A-Boo Summer Pals Week - Day 3

June 19, 2019

Hello!  Amy here sharing a summer themed card now that warm weather is here to stay!  I've used the adorable Peek-A-Boo Summer Pals.

Summer Pals

To create my scene, I started with a white die cut panel done with the Ray Die which was attached to a white side-folding notecard.  To create my wave, I used the new Summer Scene Elle-ments to die cut a panel of Peacock Feathers Distress Ink blended cardstock.  I layered the wave die over the ray background.  A die cut circle (as the sun) was tucked in behind the wave.

I Copic colored the cute seahorse and inner tube and both were die cut with the coordinating dies.  My images were positioned and added with foam adhesive.  White pigment ink accents were added as a final touch.
