Peek-A-Boo Balloon Week - Day 4

January 30, 2020

Hi friends,

Katie here with a card and video featuring the Peek-a-Boo Balloon clear stamps.  The Peek-a-Boo Balloon expands our scene and setting options for all the Peek-a-Boo Pals and it's versatile enough to accompany other stamps too. For my card, the balloon is piloted by the bunny and kitty from the Party Pals clear stamps.

I share a couple of tips in my video including how to make your fussy cutting look a bit more polished and how to make adhering lots of die-cut shapes (all these clouds!) a little less painful. I hope you'll take a peek and see how it all came together.

And Then Week - Day 5

January 11, 2019

Hi Everyone! It's Ashley here today. Sharing the amazing sentiment stamp set And Then.

Although I'm featuring this stamp set today, I've used it several times this release! It's a winner!

I always enjoy my creative time after the holidays. The season right after the holidays brings freshness and openness to creativity. Today I went a little crazy and made a Polaroid panda card. :)

I started by blending stripes with Distress Ink. Next I stamped the sentiment from And Then. I finished the sentiment by heat embossing "heart happy" on top of the inked sentiment slightly offset.

I created the Polaroid camera from a piece of card stock with rounded edges. The Simple Sentiment Dies were the perfect fit to make the slot opening.

I added a little fun with the panda bears from Party Pals. The card was finished with a few hearts from Otterly Fantastic.

Thanks for stopping by!

And Then Week Day 2

January 8, 2019

Hi there!

Elena here with a card featuring the sweet hand-lettered set, And Then. I love every sentiment in the set, it was hard to choose just one for this card!

I stamped the sentiment onto a sheet of pink paper - I really wanted to highlight that sentiment!  I colored a cat couple, from Party Pals, in different shades of grey. I added little stripes to each kitty in a darker grey.  Then, I cut a Pierced Clouds layer for them to hang out on, and framed everything out using the Horizontal Stripes cover-plate.

When everything was assembled, I was regretting my decision to stamp the sentiment in a black ink. I wish I would have embossed it in white! To lighten up the pink layer a bit, I drew in some dreamy dots using a white gel pen. I thought that helped a bit.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Peek A Boo Pals with Ashley

December 28, 2018

Hi Everyone! Ashley here! It's my last post of 2018, can you believe it?! I can't wait to see what's in store for Avery Elle in 2019 but first let's look back at some of my favorites from 2018.

Last week I shared part one of my 2018 favorites HERE. As promised, I'm back to share more favorites this week!

This card features many animals from Peek a Boo Pals. I stamped so many I had to make my card extra tall! I picked two water loving animals for the bottom, two forest loving animals for the middle and two tree loving animals for the top! This was a fun way to mix Peek a Boo Pals and Polar Peek a Boo Pals.

I framed the animals with Photo Mat Dies and added sentiment banners from Party Pals. I blended Distress Ink in each frame and then did a light water color wash on the entire background. The light water color background helps the frames pop.

I adore these animals and love how this card turned out! See you in 2019!

An Adorable Tons Of Hearts Card by Heather

December 27, 2018

Hey all! Heather Campbell here. I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

I'm ready to break out the Valentine's stamps and play!  Woot!

To create my card, I first stamped, colored and die cut the images from Party Pals

Then, I die cut the Tons of Heart panel and mounted it on a square card base.  Finally, I adhered everything together and finished the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.
XOXO,

Simple Sentiments With Amy

December 25, 2018

Merry Christmas!
Amy here and I know it's Christmas but I have a birthday card to share using one of the very versatile (and must have) stamps sets.......Simple Sentiments.

Simple Sentiments

I had the idea to white heat emboss the balloon from Party Pals so I could add color inside.  I did this by using some beauty brushes, Distress Inks, and a very light touch.  Of course, I did them in rainbow color.  After blending the colors, I buffed the balloons with a paper towel.  The balloon panel was die cut using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments.

For the sentiment, I used several sentiments stamped onto Simple Sentiments Elle-ments.  I added them with foam adhesive at varying heights.  As a finishing touch, a few clear sequins were added in.

Stuck On You Week - Day 2

December 11, 2018

Hi there!  Elena here, with a card featuring the super cute cactus pair from Stuck On You:

I started out by stamping, coloring and die-cutting the cacti. I love that the faces are included as separate stamps, so that you can stamp them in afterwards. I stamped the small round one so it looks like she's staring up at her talk, dark, handsome drink of water. ha.

I used the Oval Burst die to frame out the images, and even draped a LOVE banner (from Party Pals) in the corner. I thought that added a sweet touch!

Within the frame, I ink-blended a light purple background, and splattered some white paint on top before adding the focal images. As a final touch, I added some ground beneath their pots using a warm grey copic marker (W1) and then stamped the sentiment.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Black Friday Sale & Embellished Heart Week

November 21, 2018

Hello!  Amy here and I'm so excited to be creating for the new year and all things "not" Christmas.  Valentine's is one of my favorite holidays to craft for.

My card features the new Embellished Heart Elle-ments.  It features this large heart cut out with the cut decoration on the outside.

Embellished Heart

I started by die cutting the Embellished Heart into a white panel of cardstock.  Then I ink blended Peacock Feathers, Scattered Straw, and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock.  I concentrated colors so that my heart would have the 3 color variation.  I added my heart panel over the to of my ink blended background with foam adhesive.

I added some cute Copic colored images from Party Pals.  These little pigs are just adorable and "in love".  The banner in the corner of the heart was added with foam adhesive as well as the pigs and heart.

Big Birthday Week - Day 4

August 2, 2018

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun card using Big Birthday stamps.

To create my card I started by water coloring a border on my card base. I love how the colors interact and mix with each other.

Next, I stamped "birthday" on the card. Tip: Water color paper can be tricky to stamp on. I used my Misti to stamp several times to get perfect coverage. Next I heat embossed "happy" above "birthday". I love the Rose Gold Powder. It's my favorite!

Finally I added the cat and stars from Party Pals.

Thanks for stopping by!

More Avery Elle & Marvy Uchida

July 11, 2018

We are continuing to share projects this week using some products that our friends over at Marvy Uchida sent to us.  I have two cards to share with you today so let's check them out.

In this first card I used their Color In Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color in the images from our Party Pals stamp set.  I used their watercolor pencils and a damp paint brush to create the "grass" that the cute pandas are sitting on.  You can't see in the photo but the white cardstock panel has a dusting of glitter on it that I was able to create by squeezing some Silver Deco Just Glitter Premium pen on a scrap sheet of cardstock.  I dipped my finger in and gently rubbed it across the card front.  The effect is subtle but oh so pretty!

For this next card I used the same watercolor pencils that I did above to color the background and placed the black and white stamped die cuts from our Sea-Prise! stamp and die set on top.  So quick and easy!

Painted Backdrops Week - Day 1

June 4, 2018

Hi, it's Caryn here today with a couple of cards using the new Painted Backdrops stamp set.  It's a great set for adding a subtle background for your focal images and there are quite a few techniques you can use with it.

Here I created a multi-coloured background by stamping the stripes in different colours of ink (I used Avery Elle Pigment inks in Mimosa, Orchid and Mint To Be).  I used my MISTI stamping tool to add ink each time which makes it easy to create this look.  I then stamped the two ice-cream images from The Sweetest stamp set and coloured them using Copics.

For this second card I used the same stamp with Mint To Be ink and created a background for a card I recently made for my niece who turned 3.  I used the Party Pals stamp set along with the Modern Alpha stamps and dies and Numbered Balloons set.

Supplies:
Avery Elle Pigment Ink - Mimosa, Orchid and Mint To Be
Avery Elle Dye Ink Truffle and New Moon

Loved & Admired Week - Day 1

April 24, 2018

Hi there!

Elena here, with a card featuring Loved & Admired. The large-scaled oval wreath and that sassy sentiment are so fun!

I did a watercolor wash on the background using our new watercolors. Then, I colored and die-cut the wreath and figured out where I wanted it. I then white-heat-embossed the sentiment. I obviously can't stop using the little critters from Party Pals - I fit the little bunny behind the wreath at the bottom, and added a heart in front for a pop of color.

This sentiment makes me smile every time I see it. I love out-of-the-box greetings!

I hope you like what I created! Thanks for stopping by!

Party Pals Week - Day 5

April 13, 2018

Hi Friends! We have lots of great Party Pals inspiration for you today!

To create this card I started by die cutting the Chevron Mat die. It makes the best background! Next I stamped, die cut and colored several images from Party Pals. I paper pieced the balloon with a water colored paper (I have lots of fun scraps from previous projects). The card was finished with twine.

Supplies:
Chevron Mat Die
Party Pals Dies
Water Colors
Aquamarine Twine

Hello!

It' Yainea here! I hope you're all doing well!
I've been playing with this fun and absolutely adorable set called Party Pals and I decided to make a set of tags to have something ready for any occasion!

I started by creating just one tag but I really enjoyed the process so I decided to create nother two! I started by coloring the critters and banners with my alcohol markers. Are they cute or what??

Then I die cut the tags with using the circle die to create a negative space in the center. I adehered a piece of acetate on the back to heat emboss part of the sentiement and hold the sequins.

Finally, I just decorated the tags with the critters and banners, a bunch of sequins some washi tape, ribbon and twine. I love playing with different elements and textures on my projects :)

I hope you feel inspired to get crafty! Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a nice weekend!

Party Pals Week - Day 4

April 12, 2018

Hello everyone!  It's Heather here.
Oh my gosh, Party Pals week is finally here and boy am I excited.  I seriously squeal every time I look at Party Pals.  It's just too cute.  I love all of these critters so much I can't stand it - I can't even pick a favorite critter.  What's your favorite critter in this set?

To my cards, shall we?

For my first card I created a background out of watercolors for my little scene here.  To prevent too much blending of the two colors, I simply put very little water and color where to two colors come together and then dab with a wipe if it gets too crazy.

I also position the banner first when I put these cards together - that helps keep everything centered perfectly.

Next I used the cats and ink blended a background.

Don't these little scenes look so cute and are so easy to create!

I'd love to see what you've created with Party Pals - so add your links in the comments and I'll come check them out!
Thanks for stopping by!
