Oh Snap! Week - Day 3

June 9, 2021

Hello!  Amy here with a Hooray!  Let's celebrate a birthday!!!

Oh Snap

I've paired the adorable mini stamp set, Oh Snap,  with the new HOORAY Elle-ments for a simple birthday card.  Spun Sugar Distress Ink was blended in the center of a white notecard.  The Star Frame Elle-ments was die cut from light pink cardstock and layered over the ink blended background.  This panel was die cut using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments.

The word HOORAY was ink blended with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks and was added to the die cut stitched panel just above a 1/8" strip of black cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink below.  The alligator was Copic colored, die cut, and added to the Star Frame with foam adhesive.  To finish, a few tiny clear gems were added randomly to the stars on the Star Frame.

Sweet Swines Week - Day 3

April 1, 2020

Hello!  Amy here using Sweet Swines which includes the adorable pig on a scooter!

I created this scene using the Cloud Mat Elle-ments.  I love the piercing details on every cloud.  You can choose to use the entire panel full of clouds but here I eliminated a few at the bottom.  I also decided to add foam adhesive to most of them for dimension along with the frame that was adhered over a Distress Ink blended background.

To ground my pig on a scooter, I simply added a white heat embossed black sentiment strip at the bottom to mimick a sidewalk.  To keep with the colorful scarf he's wearing, I added a Star Frame Elle-ments and stamped the tiny star stamps from Sweet Swines in all the little stars on the Star Frame.  Finally, I added my pig over the Star Frame and added a flag that says, "Yippee"!

Critter Crew Week - Day 1

April 16, 2018

Hey, it's Caryn here with a colourful card featuring the fun Critter Crew stamp set and co ordinating dies.  I just love these wee guys Heather has created and love to see where they're going to pop up next.  For my card I created a background using Distress Oxide inks splattered with gold spray and adhered a Polka Plate die cut over the top to break up the background a little.

Next I stamped the Critter Crew twice and fussy cut around the front "layer" so I could have them popped up to give a bit more dimension to the scene.   I coloured them all with Copics and for some bling I added Avery Elle glitter to their hats!

For some added sparkle I die cut the Star Frame using gold glitter adhesive paper and placed it onto the card before popping the Critters on top.  To finish I stamped the sentiment in (from Toucan Party) in gold embossing powder and added it to the front of the card.

World's Greatest Week - Day 2

March 14, 2018

Hello friends,
Katie here today to share with you a funny card featuring the World's Greatest stamp set. It's not every stamp set that includes a "farter" sentiment, so my inner 4th grader and I couldn't resist using it on a card.

I stamped, colored and die cut the trophy image from World's Greatest and added the sentiment (hee hee). Next, I added some little bunnies to the mix from the Party Pals stamp set.  They are the perfect size for fitting inside and next to the trophy.

I die cut the Star Frame Elle-ments from white card stock and added color with a few shades of Distress Oxide inks.  A frame cut created with the Pierced Mats Elle-ments holds everything together.

Supplies:

I hope this card made you giggle. I have the perfect "farter" I mean "father" in mind for this one!

Thanks for stopping by!

Aloha, Cheers and Be Happy

June 26, 2017

Caryn and Yainea have some cute cards for us today.  Let's take a look.

I love this first card by Caryn.  She embossed the blue background using our new Waves die and stamped and die cut images from our Aloha, Tropics and Modern Alpha stamp sets.  The white double pierced circle die cut is the perfect way to mat all of the fun images.  If this doesn't say summer I don't know what does! :)

Supplies:

Caryn used the same images from our Aloha and Tropics stamp and die sets to create this next card.  I love the different look that she was able to achieve.  The glitter star frame die cut is a fantastic backdrop for all of the tropical images.

Supplies:

Yainea created this next card.  I love how she stamped and die cut the letters from our Modern Alphas stamp set in different colors to create the Be Happy sentiment.  The watercolor background is a fantastic base and the midnight twine bow is a great compliment to the entire design.

A Gorgeous Card and Fun Banner

May 31, 2017

Amy created this gorgeous card for us.  I love how she stamped, colored and die cut the large floral image from our Floral Bouquet stamp set.  She then stamped and embossed the sentiment onto a Pierced Banner Layers die cut.  The pinks, greys and greens look so lovely together.

Maska created this next banner. Maska stamped, colored and die cut various images from our Bubble Clear Stamp set and mounted them onto Double Pierced Circle die cuts.  After cutting two different stars from our Star Frame Die set she attached everything onto a piece of Aquamarine Hemp Twine.  This is so fun!  I love it!
