CelebRAYtion with Ashley

May 14, 2020

Ashley created this card for us last summer.  Cute right? I just love it. Check it out!

Hi Friends! I'm sharing CelebRAYtion today. I'm lovin' this card so let's JUMP right in...

I started this cool card with a giant wave using the Summer Scene die as a mask. Next, I stamped and die cut two hammer head sharks from CelebRAYtion stamps. They were so fun to color. I love their happy faces.

Next I added a few details with water drops and waves from Pool Party and an embossed sentiment from CelebRAYtion.

Cloud Mat Week - Day 3

January 1, 2020

Hello!  Amy here sharing a card using the Cloud Mat Elle-ments.  The clouds in this full panel die have pierced cloud outlines.  I love this!  What's better is that these clouds can be used on their own or the full panel for a sky scene.

Cloud Mat
I chose to leave my panel all white.  I added color to my balloon from Some Bunny.  To create my rainbow striped balloon, I used the chisel tip of my Copic markers and a ruler.  I drew lines across a small piece of cardstock.  Once done, the balloon was stamped onto the rainbow paper and hand trimmed out to paper piece over a balloon stamped on white cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped over the striped balloon in bold black ink.  A few of the balloons were removed from the background and added with foam adhesive.  The bunny was Copic colored, die cut, and adhered with foam adhesive to "hold" the balloon.  To finish,  three small solid hearts, from CeleRAYtion, were stamped onto the clouds.

CelebRAYtion Week - Day 3

August 15, 2019

Hi there!

Elena here, with a fun birthday card featuring the CelebRAYtion stamp set:

I knew when I saw this stamp set that the images were cute, but I didn't realize just HOW CUTE until I colored them. This hammer-head shark is my favorite!

I started out with a sheet of white cardstock and just blended blue inks until I was happy with the saturation. I kept it lighter towards the middle to highlight our shark friend.

I stamped the wave lines from Pool Party in a darker blue for some contrast. I then created a sandy ground and added some algae to the bottom of the scene. I also borrowed the gift image from Peek-A-Boo Car but cut it down some so it fit the space better.

I colored the present, cupcake and party hat in rich red hues, because I love how that looks so much against the watery blue. This color combo is one of my favorites!

To finish off, I added the sentiment right at the top and framed out the scene with a Dotted Frame die.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

♥.

CelebRAYtion Week - Day 2

August 14, 2019

Hello!  Amy here today with a card using the CelebRAYtion set.  This stamp set can be used to create a card for anyone!

CelebRAYtion

I started out by Copic coloring my smiling shark friend and adding in darker dots for dimension.  I die cut my shark and rock/seaweed elements with the coordinating CelebRAYtion Elle-ments.  I assembled my card using the wave from Summer Scene Elle-ments that was distressed with a bit of Distress Ink splatter.  The wave was adhered to a white notecard that was ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.  I added my shark and other elements with foam adhesive along with a white heat embossed sentiment using the Simple Sentiments Elle-ments.

Swell Week - Day 4

August 9, 2019

Hi Everyone! Ashley here and I'm so excited to share Swell and CelebRAYtion with you today!

Let's get to it...

I started my card by heat embossing Swell using White Fine Embossing Powder. Next, I used Distress Oxides to blend the water scene. I used Post it Tape to mask off a small sun beam of light and added splatters of Distress Oxide. Next, I inked the sand and heat embossed the sentiment. I wanted more control of the splatters so instead of ink I used a Copic marker to place the dots in the sand.

Next I stamped, die cut and colored the rays and seaweed using CelebRAYtion and added them to my scene.

Thanks for stopping by!

Swell Week - Day 2

August 7, 2019

Hello Avery Elle friends!

Katie here with a card featuring the Swell stamp set.  The Swell stamp set set works so well on it's own or as a watery background with other images. Here I paired it with the CelebRAYtion stamp set to create a birthday card.

I stamped the Swell image with Veramark ink onto a panel of water color card stock and heat embossed it with Avery Elle's Rose Gold embossing powder. I used a blending brush to add Distress Oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose around the edges of the card.  I stamped the sentiment from the Swell stamp sent in the center of the background image and heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder.

I stamped the rays, sea grass, party hats, and cupcake images onto white card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the images with the CelebRAYtion coordinating Elle-ments dies.  I arranged the images onto the blended panel and adhered them with Avery Elle's liquid adhesive.  I attached the finished panel onto an A2 notecard.

That's all for me today!
It was so 'Swell' of you to stop by and spend part of your day with us!
