Creepy Cameo Week - Day 3

August 23, 2023

Hello!

It's Yainea here today featuring Creepy Cameos stamps and coordinating dies. This set is just so cool for Halloween! I love that you can go with some different ideas and even different styles with it. I went with a gothic pastel card (is that a name? haha)

My inspiration were those gothic cameos with black background and esqueletons, so I heat embossed everything using white embossing powder over a black cardstock.

For the background I used a muted patterned paper on white and cream that matches the classy style but I distressed the edges to give it more of a gothic or spooky look.

I added some pearls as a necklace and a tiny bouquet of dried flowers on her hair.

I mounted everything on a lavender card base and added a piece of the new black washi.

I hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by, have a nice day!

Creepy Cameo Week - Day 2

August 22, 2023

Hello!
Amy here wishing you some "Wicked Wishes" for this Halloween!
It's not too early to be making those Halloween cards.

The new Creepy Cameos are fun icons of this spooky season.  I started by creating the background using white pigment ink blended over the new Gothic Stencil onto black cardstock.  This panel was die cut using the Pierced Rounded Frames Elle-ments.  The frame, witch, and bats from Creepy Cameos were stamped in black ink onto white cardstock.  Left over ink from my green blender brush was added over the top of the frame, witch, and bats.  A sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and added with foam adhesive.  Once the card was assembled, it was spritzed with Shimmer Spray.....the perfect grunge look!

Creepy Cameo Week - Day 1

August 21, 2023

Today I have a couple of projects I created using the Creepy Cameos stamps and dies.  I've been DYING to create with this set!

First is a creepy Halloween card -  it totally gives me Haunted Mansion vibes - especially with the Gothic stencilled background.

To create the background I first blended some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of white card then shifted it down and stencilled again with Shaded Lilac.  I love the effect it gives, like old worn Victorian wallpaper.  I die cut this piece with the largest of the Pierced Rounded Frames dies, brushed the edge with the same ink and adhered it to a card front with foam tape.

From the Creepy Cameos stamp set I stamped and embossed the frame twice and die cut. I blended Wilted Violet ink around the edge and then stamped the two spooky cameo images into them.  I gave the creepy lady a wee flower for her hair too!

To finish I stamped the Happy Haunting sentiment and die cut it, blended some ink around the edge and adhered to the card.

For my second project I wanted to combine the Creepy Cameo set with the Have a Ball set - why not?!
I thought it would be fun to make a little decor piece to put in my pumpkin candy jar! I stamped the gum ball machine onto white card and some black and white patterned paper then paper pieced it. I took the candy images from Gingerbread Kisses set and coloured in my halloween theme.  Then I stamped and die cut the witch silhouette adding some black glitter to her hat.  I added glossy accent to the candy pieces and then took a straw, wrapped some tinsel around it and glued it to the back (I added a second die cut at the back to cover up all the "workings"!!)

To finish I stamped the sentiment (from Creepy Cameos) and die cut it with a label die, added some twine and then ate a bunch of sweets!!!
