Thanks Thanks Week - Day 3

December 18, 2019

Hello friends,

Katie here with a colorful card featuring the Thanks Thanks clear stamps.

I wanted to incorporate a lot of the great sentiments included in the Thanks Thanks set, so I paired colored card stock with heat embossing to make a simple and graphic card.

I stamped each of the sentiments with Versamark on colored card stock, and I heat embossed each sentiment with the Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I trimmed each piece of card stock into strips and lined up the strips to create the striped design.

That's all for me today, but you are in for a treat today- more Thanks Thanks inspiration from Amy Kolling!

Hello!  Amy here with a card for the upcoming holidays.  We all have so much to be thankful for during the holidays.  I already have someone in mind for this card!

Using the Holiday Bouquet set from a few years ago, the large poinsettia image was Copic colored with light pink color.  Glossy accents were added to the flower centers and the tiny tips of the berries.

Thanks Thanks

My holiday flower was added with foam adhesive to a side folding note card that was stamped with the sentiment from Thanks, Thanks in bold black ink.  I surrounded the sentiment with the frame from Plus Frame Elle-ments in white.  As a final touch, I added a few pink gems.

Hooray Week - Day 3

December 11, 2019

Hello!  Amy here sharing a colorful THANKS card that was super quick to make using the amazing pigment inks from Avery Elle!

Inks used:
Magenta
Aquamarine
Lemon Grass
Fizz
Orchid
Pixie
Mimosa
Strawberry

Thanks

The 'thanks' stamp, from Hooray, was stamped repeatedly down a panel of white cardstock, moving the paper up 3/4" each time.  This panel was adhered to white note card that was lined on the left side with a strip of black/white striped paper from The Neutral Collection.

To finish, the sentiments from Hooray were stamped onto Simple Sentiment Elle-ments and adhered with foam adhesive.

Thanks2

Supplies:
The Neutral Collection paper pad (retired)
Pigment Inks (listed above)

Over to Caryn....

I have a very festive take on Hooray stamp set and have paired the "Merry" sentiment with and "oldie but goodie" stamp set, Holiday Bouquet.  This is still one of my go-to sets for Christmas cards, I love to colour the poinsettias in different colours for unique looks.

I stamped and embossed the "Merry" in gold embossing powder then fussy cut around it.  I picked out the Merry Christmas from the Quirky Christmas set (retired) and stamped it in Truffle pigment ink and cut it into a banner.

For the flowers I stamped them in a very light brown ink and then coloured them with Copics for a "no-line" effect and then die cut them using the co-ordinating dies.

To finish I added some shimmer to the flowers and added a splatter of white paint.

Party Tag Week - Day 1 & Blog Hop Winners

December 2, 2019

Hello! Caryn is on the blog today with a cute project!  Be sure to check it out and scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to see the Design Team Blog Hop Winners!

Hey there!  Caryn here today sharing a cute little Christmas project using the new Party Tag die collection.  Paired with the new Hooray stamp set these dies are super handy for quickly creating the perfect tag for any any gift or occasion.

I took an inexpensive plain gift bag and stamped the poinsettia image from the Holiday Bouquet stamp set and coloured it with Copics.  Next I die cut the largest of the tag dies from patterned paper from the Holiday Paper Pack and again in white.

To finish I used Cherry Pigment ink and stamped the Merry sentiment onto the white tag, layered it with the red dotty one and added it to my gift bag.

Holiday Bouquet Week - Day 4

September 7, 2017

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing the amazing poinsettia stamp set Holiday Bouquet. One of my favorite holiday traditions is looking at poinsettias at my local nursery. I couldn't wait to bring my favorite poinsettia color to this stamp!

I started the card by coloring and die cutting the main image from Holiday Bouquet. I love the new Shaker Dies and decided to use the circle die to add a tag shape behind the focal image. I kept the background simple with some Distress Stain and sequins. The card was finished with twine and a stamped sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to see what YOU create!

Holiday Bouquet Week - Day 3

September 6, 2017

Hello!
Amy K. here sharing more inspiration with this week's set Holiday Bouquet.

Holiday Bouquet

I am sharing my favorite technique right now, watercoloring with Distress Oxides.  I start by smooshing the ink pad onto an acrylic block.  You don't need much!  TIP:  There's no easier and fun way to watercolor than to use white heat embossing.  It makes it so easy to "stay in the lines"!

Holiday Bouquet Technique

I started by white heat embossing onto Bristol Smooth watercolor paper.  This paper makes all the difference in the world when watercoloring and it very inexpensive!  First, I spritzed it lightly with some water and then using Candied Apple and Peeled Paint, I simply used my waterbrush to drop color to the areas of the poinsettias.  I colored the image several times, drying between.  As a last touch, I spritzed the image with shimmer spray and let dry.  My card was assembled using the Diagonal Stripes Elle-ments.  There's something to be said about a white on white holiday card with poinsettias!

Holiday Bouquet Week - Day 2

September 5, 2017

Hello, hello!  It's Heather here and today I'm sharing using the gorgeous new Holiday Bouquet stamp set!

I love love love the look of elegant flowers heat embossed on vellum!   This trick is a good one and works well for mass production!

To create my card, I first stamped and heat embossed the images on the vellum.  Then, on the back side, I colored them in with my Copics!  Super easy and it totally has the "wow" factor!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Have a great one!
XOXO,

Heather

Holiday Bouquet Week - Day 1

September 4, 2017

Hi Everyone!  This week we are featuring projects with our fabulous new Holiday Bouquet stamp and die set.  Check them out!  Here is a quick video on the set as well.  Enjoy!!

Hello Avery Elle fans - Caryn here today!  This week on the blog we're sharing our creations featuring a stamp set designed by lil 'ol me - Holiday Bouquet.  Who doesn't love a festive, floral stamp set?  This set isn't JUST for those who celebrate Christmas either.  Poinsettia became a tradition originally in Mexico when a young boy couldn't afford to buy a gift so gathered wild plants from the road side.  It is also the birth flower for the month of December (which happens to be when my birthday is, yay!).

Anyhoo, on to my card.  I started with a white card base and die cut the Horizontal Stripes Elle-Ments from white and adhered it to the base.  I stamped some of the images from the set in Versamark onto Bristol smooth white card then heat embossed them in white.  To colour the images I used Zig Clean Colour markers and water to give a pretty water-coloured effect.  Finally once all the elements were adhered where I wanted them I stamped the sentiment in Fog dye ink in the centre.
