All Of Us Week - Day 4

February 14, 2019

First of all, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!  If I had realized when I made this card it'd be posting on Valentine's I probably would have changed the theme of this card.  But I didn't so you get birthday instead! :)

For my post today, I'm playing with the All of Us stamp set.  When I was designing this set, I loved the idea of it so I'm thrilled it's here and now I get to see it come to life.

To create my card, I stamped and die cut 2 rows of cats.  I colored them in having so much fun replicating just about any cat color combo I could think of.  Then, I stamped and die cut 2 of the sentiment and some party hats.

I love how you can pop the sentiments up on these signs the animals can be holding. It puts a fun spin on it. :) I created a shaker using some sequins and accented it with the Avery Elle course glitter

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a great one!
XO, Heather

Christmas Magic Week - Day 1

October 29, 2018

Hey there, Caryn here with a card featuring the cute-as-can-be Christmas Magic stamp set.  I've paired it with the fabulous Let It Snow dies to create a cute festive scene - with lots of Avery Elle Glitter!

I blended a background using Distress Oxide inks on to the card bas then die cut the snowy frame using lilac card.  I glued some chunky glitter onto this for a frosy effect.

Then I simply stamped and coloured the images, die cut hem and adhered them onto the card.  The longest part of making this was waiting for the glue to dry under the glitter!

Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals Week - Day 3

October 10, 2018

Katie - Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card to share with you using the Polar Peek a Boo Pals stamp set and the Three Stars Elle-ments die.  The Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals set is just adorable!!  It features animals that are in their element in the colder wintery months, and it's among my favorite from the Fall Release!

For my card, I stamped and colored the animals using Copic markers and created a glitter shaker background for the Pals. I die cut the Three Star Elle-ments die from a panel of white card stock and stamped the sentiment in black ink.  Behind each star, I blended Distress Oxide ink in red, yellow and green and added a pinch of glitter before sealing up the shaker with acetate and foam tape.

I tucked each of the Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals to each star and adhered a few flat star sequins as a finishing touch.

Corner Sentiments Holiday Week - Day 1

September 3, 2018

Hey there, Caryn here today sharing a card and video showcasing the fabulous Corner Sentiments: Holiday stamp set.  I've paired it with a previously released set Holiday Bouquet.

Here's a short video showing how this design came together:

I started with a white card base and die cut a frame in green using the Wonky Scalloped Frames die set.

Next I stamped the sentiment in the frame and stamped, coloured and die cut the images from Holiday Bouquet.

I added a wee bit of sparkle using Avery Elle Coarse Glitter to the berries and then assembled my coloured images onto the card front.

Starry Scene Week - Day 4

August 31, 2018

Hi Everyone, Ashley here! Have you started making your holiday cards? I love making them one at a time and starting early then I have a fun collection for the holidays!

Today I created my card using Starry Scene and Polar Peek a Boo Pals. Let's check it out!

I started this winter scene with the background. I stamped the star sky with Distress Oxides. I tried MANY different kinds of ink for this look and Distress Oxides ended up being my personal favorite. I found applying the ink to the stamp with an ink blender gave the best results. I also had my stamp and paper set up in a Misti so I could easy stamp it several times.

Next I stamped the mountains, bear and fox and colored them with Copics. I hand cut the hills and added Coarse Glitter to the tops. I finished the card with a sentiment from Fireside.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wonky Circles Frames With Yainea

August 28, 2018

Hello!!

It's Yainea here today featuring the new super cool Wonky Circle Frames- I love these kind of dies that are so versatile. It's perfect to frame a sentiment, a scene, an image, create a shaker...

Every year I love to create at least a Christmas card with a pink color combo, this time I combined it with aqua to create this little shaker card.

I kept the design very simple but I added lots of sparkle :)

I used the pretty Hatch Mat die to add texture to my background, then I created my shaker with the biggest die of the Wonky Circle Frames, cutting one layer of white glittery cardstock and another from foam. I stamped the sentiment from Comfort & Joy on acetate and filled the skaker with a mix of sequins and some Avery Elle Coarse Glitter.

Finally I added the cute penguin from A Merry Little Christmas set (which I previously colored with alcohol markers and die cut) and tied some Aquamarine Hemp Twine on top.

I hope you like it!! Have a wonderful day! :)

August 16, 2018

Hey everyone!  It's Heather Campbell here.  How are you enjoying the new release?  I'm having so much fun playing with each and every one of these sets. :)
For my card today, I paired the beautiful sentiments from Sending Peace with some Christmas critters from A Merry Little Christmas

To create my card, I ink blended a background and then spritzed it heavily with some shimmer spray.    Then, I heat embossed the sentiment.  Then I cut my white piece of cardstock and adhered Avery Elle coarse glitter to it!  I love this look!  Finally I stamped, die cut and adhered the writers to my card with dimensional foam.  Lastly, I accented the sky with snow made with a white gel pen!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a great one!

Big Birthday Week Card & Video - Day 2

July 31, 2018

Hello friends,
Katie here with a card and a video to share with you today featuring the Big Birthday Clear Stamps and the Focal Point Stripes Elle-ments die.

I used wire snips to separate the inner stripes of the Focal Point Stripes die from the outer rectangle and die cut a card panel using the stripes portion of the die to create a shaker window.  I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card and added lots of Avery Elle's Coarse Glitter and other shiny things to the shaker pocket.

A few yellow sequins transformed the stripes into birthday candles and a bit of Hemp Twine adds a finishing touch.

I hope you'll take a peek at my video to see how it all came together.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peek-A-Boo Pals Week - Day 3

June 13, 2018

Hello friends,

Katie here with a colorful birthday shaker card to share with you today featuring the Peek-A-Boo Pals stamp set and the Focal Point Stripes Elle-ments die.

First I die cut the Focal Points Stripe die from watercolor card stock.  I removed each strip and added color using Distress Oxide inks.  I spritzed the inked stripes with water and allowed them to dry. Next I stamped the sentiments from Peek-A-Boo Pals onto two of the stripes.  The stripes coordinate perfectly with the sentiments in Peek-A-Boo Pals!

I assembled the shaker element, adding some Avery Elle Coarse Glitter and clear star sequins before sealing it closed with foam tape.  I stamped the elephant and panda from Peek-A-Boo pals and colored them with Copic markers.  I nested the animals along to bottom edge of the shaker window and adhered their paws to the card with foam tape.

Critter Crew Week - Day 1

April 16, 2018

Hey, it's Caryn here with a colourful card featuring the fun Critter Crew stamp set and co ordinating dies.  I just love these wee guys Heather has created and love to see where they're going to pop up next.  For my card I created a background using Distress Oxide inks splattered with gold spray and adhered a Polka Plate die cut over the top to break up the background a little.

Next I stamped the Critter Crew twice and fussy cut around the front "layer" so I could have them popped up to give a bit more dimension to the scene.   I coloured them all with Copics and for some bling I added Avery Elle glitter to their hats!

For some added sparkle I die cut the Star Frame using gold glitter adhesive paper and placed it onto the card before popping the Critters on top.  To finish I stamped the sentiment in (from Toucan Party) in gold embossing powder and added it to the front of the card.
