I haven't been carrying the Canon camera or camera bag due to having a pinched disc in my back and the fact I'm not suppose to be lifting anything heavy, lol. Yes my camera bag is heavy...so the cell phone has come in handy!
Barred Owl
On our way to a birthday party tonight I saw this owl in the road and quickly pulled over, threw a blanket over him and moved him off the road and under some nearby Oak trees. He was awful skinny and I wasn't sure if he got hit in the road or not. I'm a firm believer that wild animals belong in the wild and sometimes nature just needs to take it's course...I hope he makes it and that moving him into the shade helped but you never know...
After the Birthday party I saw the clouds swirling around the water tower and thought it looked pretty cool...very ominous!

Tomorrow evening we are having a pool party for Michael and his classmates. An end of the school year celebration! I know the kids will have a blast and so glad they can get together after school is over and play! It's gonna be a busy day
After pinching a disc in my back last week I went directly to the doctor and told him I was heading to NYC in two weeks and I had to be able to walk...He got me on some meds and told me no lifting what so ever, ekk...It's been a rough week for me (I'm not use to just lying around) but I've taken it easy with some stretching and gentle exercising here and there and letting Michael and Fred do most of the work around here and my back is so much better, yeah!! I remember when this use to happen and I wouldn't go to the doctor and I'd be down for 6 weeks. I've learned my lesson now and know if I get on the meds as soon as the disc gets pinched I'll be better in a week or less. So glad we have the meds we have now to help out!
