Michael and his Fall Festival Cake...

He wanted to enter a cake in the cake contest...
So I told him I'd help but it was his job to make it...

Busy, Busy, Busy....

TaaDaa....it's a spider!
It was fairly easy for him to make too.

He's happy and I think it's adorable!

Just because I love you...

and wanted to share some morning photos with y'all....

Morning Sunrise....

Storm clouds...
~
I wanted you to know that I fell in a hole, twisted my ankle, fell on my bad knee and burnt a batch of cupcakes just so I could show you how gorgeous the sky was this morning :o)
Y'all have a great weekend!

This past weekend we went to Raquel's 1st Birthday party and saw all the Grandkids, except for Malachi. I managed to get photos of all of them and thought I'd create a memory!

Moulton Texas, Kloesel's Steak House...

After leaving the maze we headed to Moulton Texas for lunch. We had heard about the Steak house at the maze so we thought we'd try it out...

The stories these walls could tell...

Love to read about history...
~
They had a several lunch specials for $6.99. We got the Chicken Fried Steak and it was really good. It came with Mashed potatoes, broccoli and Ochre (we didn't eat the Ochre), and a piece of coconut cream pie. I'm not too fond of pies but the coconut cream was delicious. I can't wait for my Mother to come this winter, she's going to like this and I'm going to enjoy taking her...

~
Afterwards we did a little relaxing on the front porch swing!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your out and about the Texas countryside, we'll definitely be going back!

Rocky Creek Corn Maze - Moulton Texas

This is where we spent part of our Saturday....
I had never taken Michael to a corn maze and thought he might enjoy it. Fred and Michael did not want to go but after showing them the photos on the website for the maze they decided it might be fun...They amaze me :o)

The beginning of the maze.
You could take different trails, we chose the short one! It was getting hot out and short sounded good, plus Michael was our guide and I thought he'd enjoy it more.

Uh Oh, which way do we go?
This way Mom...

Michael did a wonderful job and got us through the maze rather quickly.
~
The cornfield maze from the top of the slide.

The slide...Michael loved it!

Weeeeeeeeeeee....

There is a story behind these photos...one that makes me laugh!
It's all about Fred!

The barrel train...

Milking a cow...a wooden cow but still cute.

Air bouncer...Michael had fun!
(This was $2 for 10 minutes above the cost of the maze)

Michael posing for me...

No Left Turn Maze created out of round bales, it was pretty neat.
Michael and I messed up and made a left turn but Fred figured it out.

They had a flower garden for the butterflies....

It was gorgeous and I had fun with the camera!
~
It was a beautiful Autumn day and so glad Michael got to have fun and experience some outdoor activities in the country side...
I didn't have corn mazes growing up but I had corn fields and we used to play in them. Getting lost was the whole idea...so glad Michael got to experience this. We did the maze twice and he loved it. Sunday morning he woke up and wanted to go back, lol...

Names and the places we see them...

~
We saw this boat this weekend on a road trip and got a chuckle out of it...
Michael was a bit confused and it took some explaining as to why a boat had my name on it :o)
~
I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the moment, allergies, sinus's, cold, who knows? I have a lot of photos from this weekend. We went on a short road trip Saturday, granddaughters Birthday party Saturday night and spent some time with family on Sunday. I hope to get the photos done in the next few days so stayed tuned...but in the mean time I'm going back to bed! Y'all have a good start to your week :o)
