A few digi layouts from tonight...

~

My Knight in shining armor:
Did you know that doing your homework with a knights helmet on is more fun and helps your brain do the work? So says Sir Michael!! He's strange at times but he'll always be my knight.

They're all Mine...
I have to admit these two clowns are mine! Always entertaining and looking for a laugh. I’m honestly not sure why Michael is wearing a parachute on his head and I’m afraid to ask. Fred is just being silly. He knows I hate it when people ruin a perfectly good photo. Fred also knows I will publish photos of people acting stupid. So here are my two boys; one acting silly and the other one with a vivid imagination! And I love them with all my heart!

Wolf Moon digital layout with Jen Maddocks digital design freebie

Jen Maddock over at www.Jencropable.com had this gorgeous freebie (paper and photo mask) the past month...and if you hurry she still might have it for free...if not you can find the paper and mask in her store!

I loved the colors of the paper and I thought Jen did a fantastic job on the mask...I've been wanting to use them but was waiting for the right photo...Well tonight my brain started working, ha ha ha, and I thought Oh what about that photo of the Moon I took....Yes!!
I thought it turned out pretty sweet, thank you Jen!!
~
Jen's has got some new products and designs in her store! Two new kits for Valentines or actually anytime you want to show some love in a layout...Some gorgeous papers, flower overlays, circle brushes, templates and the list goes on...

Toothless Wonder...

~

My little toothless wonder pulled his first loose tooth out this morning! He was so excited! I was thinking, sheesh here we go he’s not my baby anymore! He’s growing up and up, one milestone after another. He had to mark it on the calendar. I told him I was going to ask the tooth fairy if I could trade her the tooth so I could put it in his baby book, we’ll see if she agrees.

A bit of South Texas Nature

I did manage to get some nature shots this weekend. It's a bit chilly and today (Sunday) was overcast and dreary...But I needed some camera therapy and to show you that Spring is in the air...

The Robins are here in flocks...They still haven't headed North but it seems like they are just waiting for it to warm up and they'll be off!

I spotted this little darl'in in the yard!

And my Carolina Jasmine is fix'in to be in full bloom soon! I just hope our frosty cold weather doesn't hurt the blooms!
~
I'm hoping each week to see more and more wildflowers. It should be a great year for wildflowers as we had rain in November and December. Time to start practicing with the Macro lens!

The Vultures are circling...

No not really but I took this photo yesterday and thought it was a good opening for this post.
This is a wee bit graphic so if you don't want to see Fred's finger in its damaged state you might want to stop here!

~
When I was in the process of checking Fred's finger this morning I asked if I could take a photo...The injury is really looking good! Swelling is down, bruising is disappearing and the skin looks healthy...Fred and Mom both yelled at me "You and your Camera!" lol...I can't help myself, sorry...I have always found wounds interesting and love it when they heal properly!! I can see where the tip of his finger might be a big crooked when it heals but at least he still has his finger!

I'm just amazed at how well the cut has healed though!! Miracle of antibiotics! Definitely looks like he will lose the fingernail until a new one grows back...Ouch! He says it doesn't hurt anymore, yea!! But then his arm where he had the tetanus shot is a different story...Swollen and hard, ewww....Ice, Ice, and more Ice!!
