Sunday we were on the road again...headed to Dad and Mom's ranch over on the San Antonio river near Goliad Texas...

It's so much fun scanning the woods and fields for wildflowers...

Yucca

Sow Thistle

Cilantro (herb) also known as chinese Parsley.

It was a beautiful day and it was nice to get outside for a bit and explore the Texas countryside....

Sunday - The Critters

Here are a few photos of critters we saw while over to Dad and Mom's ranch Sunday....

Zooom-Zooom...

My "Where's Waldo" photo for the day...Do you see it?

Looking a bit rough...party too much the night before perhaps? He's so cute I don't think it matters :o)

Joe jumping...
Michael taught him how to carefully walk across the cattle guard...If he was a smart puppy he'd tell Michael to take a hike and just walk under the fence :o)

Sunday - The people

Here's my people photos from our Sunday at Mom and Dad's ranch on the San Antonio River....

Posing in the flowers all sweet and innocent (*snort*snort*)

Time with Grandma and Grandpa...

Give him a gun (bb) and he poses for me, sheesh!

Can you believe this same little boy threw a tantrum for 25 minutes a couple hours before this...Now he's happy!

Laughter the best medicine :o)

Our Saturday...

We had to take some measurements Saturday at the property. Mom and Michael took the mule down and drove around while Fred and I did some measuring and then we all kind of played around...We had almost 2 inches of rain the other day and the dry creek bed was flowing and the Creek was way above normal...

Ever since I took Michael through the flooded dry creek bed a few years back and we got stuck he will NOT ride the mule through the water, lol...he'd rather walk! We've since put gravel in the splashway and solved the problem of becoming stuck but Michael doesn't seem to trust us!

Dry creek bed flooded!

Grammy over there, over there Grammy...Little Boss MAN!!

LOL...still walking!

Go Grandma!!

Playing in the dry creek bed...

Michael and Fred checking out the water flow...

Michael throwing stones with Fred in the background!

Photo of the dry creek bed and where our culvert bridge was once at...A couple years back we received 6 inches of rain and said bye bye to our bridge...We are in the process of putting in a Bigger Bridge. Once we get the new bridge in we can start on getting the house built.

The Creek and the deluge of water...

Michael throwing sticks with Grandma's help...I am happy to report no one fell in the flooded creek!

♥ I love him even if he doesn't smile ♥
That was pretty much our day in photos...it was a gorgeous day!
