Baby Bib and Rabbit Hunt

I made a bib for a friend's new Grandson

and lots of rabbits for a rabbit hunt around Easter time for my Grandson.
Some were made of card and some were fabric, stitched with a backing and wadding in the middle. I used stamps I had made a while ago.

Leather Rabbit Family

Another picture I recently finished. I painted the background on canvas fabric then embellished with machine embroidery. The rabbits were made from faux leather with black patches also in faux leather which were appliqued onto the fabric. The eyes were drawn on with pens. The fabric was wrapped around a canvas frame.

Rabbit Collages and Cakes

Two bunny collages - watercolour and wax crayon backgrounds, found images of rabbits. The insect on the above was a later digital addition [from the Graphics Fairy]

Some of my arty friends came around today and Helen brought me and another friend a surprise gift each of a card and a dish of cakes she had made. Helen does not like cakes with sponge in them to eat herself, but she enjoys baking them, so aren't we the lucky ones. Don't they look lovely?

The Giant Egg [TAW] and Dog Collages

I did this digital collage with Easter in mind, but I've just seen the challenge on Take a Word which is 'eggs', so my giant egg picture will suit that too.
The images of the egg, rabbits, birds, butterfly, insect and nest were all from The Graphics Fairy. [the rabbit family is so cute]. The background is one of my photos taken in a local wood, there is a big hole under the tree amongst the roots.
Below - collages - the backgrounds are painted with watercolours, the images were found.

Workman ATC and Valentine Bunnies

The Take a Word challenge is an 'old fashioned' ATC.
For my ATC I used a photo I took at Beamish museum for the background. The man is from the Graphics Fairy and the adverts on the trunk are from a photo also taken at Beamish which was on the side of a building.

As it is Valentine's day tomorrow I thought I would post this digital collage. The heart shape with the flowers and text was from a greetings card which I cut off and coloured. The cute bunnies are another image from the Graphics Fairy.

Willow Pattern Knitted Blanket and Doodles

Another blanket made from the knitted samples which were try outs of new patterns knitted many moons ago, but made into a blanket a few months ago.
