Stitched Portraits
I joined in with the Textile Artist free taster course
This is my portrait with the appliqued top and black stitching. The background is a page from a book made and given to me by a friend.
I've added coloured thread next.

Tablet Digital Doodles
I combined two flowers to make one which I then made into a repeating pattern

well fruit actually today, we don't see these fresh in the UK, I believe you can get them in jars and cans.

Catch Up Friday - 02 02 2024

Embroidered Birds

Mainly back stitch and French Knots.
Sorry for the terrible photos, it was so dark even on a south facing window shelf.
There are actually three different coloured fabrics and threads.
I will be making a cushion cover so hopefully the photo of that will be better.



Collage

I've been playing with Gelli prints and made the collage out of those sheets.
I used acrylic paints and a variety of papers.
