Friday Catch Up 11th July 2025

I've been lucky enough to have been away again, this time in Crete.
I haven't done any Doodlewash work at all. But I've still got some of the gelli print book that I have not shared yet.

And I'm linking with Friday Face Off

Yesterday I managed to do a small lino print using soft sculpt. I've altered it a bit since then but have not printed it yet. I get a bit messy with the ink and get it on the back which is not good if I want to send it as a gift card. I'm fairly new to this technique and would like to do more and improve hopefully.

Photo Challenges
Flower of the Day - Peony
Monday Window - a bus at Beamish Museum. I grew up in Doncaster but I no longer live there.
Thursday Doors or in this case a gate in Washington, UK
Pull up a Seat - The balcony of the apartment we stayed in at Crete with fabulous views over the sea.

I'm away again with my two sisters for a few days next week in England, a girlie break.
I'll be back in two weeks. Enjoy your time.

Altea [April 2025]

I think this view looks better in real life, it was from one of the hotel windows

The hand of Fatima door knocker -There is a ring on her marriage finger. The occupants of the house were protected against evil.

Just along the coast from Altea is Denia

Gelli Printed Daffodils
I arranged the daffodils after using them for gelli-printing.

The one above was done on a silicone mat rather than a gelli plate, think I need a bit more practice.

Other flowers with the daffs.

Photo Challenges - Stockholm, Sweden
This poor soul has a seat on the floor. It's a rag and bone sculpture highlighting the issue of homelessness.
The rowing boat is at the Vasa Museum

There are a lot of impressive buildings in Stockholm.

I'll not be posting next week.
Enjoy your week.
