Large Swatch Quilt

I finished a quilt made out of swatches from Spoonflower all of which are my designs.
You can find all the fabrics here.
I'm afraid none of the photos are particularly good though.

Tree, Flower and Helen's Quilt

A couple of creations drawn on my tablet. I used one of the brushes in sketchbook pro for the tree stump and branches.

I don't know if anyone remembers that I was going to enter a quilt in a competition [Imagine - Patchwork Europe] but I didn't finish it in time for entry. Well I didn't enter but my friend Helen did and this is her lovely quilt 'In the library at night'. I'm not surprised she won a prize - well done Helen! Click on the image for a closer look.

Let it Snow Wall Hanging

I had a fun day yesterday with friends when we went to Fat Quarters to make a Christmas surprise. The surprise was this quilted hanging 'let it snow'.
I finished it off today with a few differences - I put 'snow' on the gaps on the tree and used a machined star to quilt with. I made a dogs dinner of the edging but I'm going to leave it because I can [am lazy]. I will be using it as a large coaster on a table rather than a hanging.

Swatch Quilt

At long last I have made a small quilt with some of my fabric swatches from Spoonflower.
It's not brilliantly made but I'm pleased I actually made it.
All the fabrics are my own designs and are available to buy from Spoonflower.

Now the question is - do I make more small quilts with some more of the swatches?
And perhaps join the quilts together to make a bigger one?
Or a different quilt where the swatches are joined together without the plain fabric between?

Update - Fabric Samples

This is what I have done with the fabric samples so far.
This piece was cut up then stitched together. After sandwiching with some thin wadding and backing fabric I quilted them together with a decorative machine stitch.

For the boat I outlined with freehand machine embroidery, then stitched it to a sketchbook page which I had torn out. I reattached the page with hand stitches.

Another boat also outlined with machine embroidery.

I used a red thread for the freehand machine embroidery to quilt the three layers together.
This one is my favourite so far.

I have one large piece of fabric that I've not done anything with yet

Art Quilt Update

The textured circle above is made from string which was painted. I threaded the string thru a very large eyed needle and made a raised spiders web wheel stitch, or whipped wheel. Some perle thread stitching was also added together with beads.
The picture below is a bit bleary, but the flowers are some lovely pale peachy coloured sequins stitched onto plastic canvas [maybe rug canvas?] before being applied to the quilt.
Can you tell what the discs below are made from?
Spiders web seem to be the thing at the moment.
I have actually done a lot more to the quilt since I took these photos, & I have very sore fingers today. Not only is the fabric quite stiff in places from the paint but I keep stabbing myself with large pins or the needles and I have lots of little cuts from clearing up a broken bottle that broke into smithereens which contained wine [sob! what a waste] which was going all over the place. Me being clumsy I'm afraid & I hadn't had a drink either.
