Hexie Bag and Gelli Prints

First of all I finished the second hexie bag. All the hexagonal patches were stitched by hand, some not very neatly unfortunately. The first bag can be seen here.

I've also been doing some Gelli prints with my new acrylic paints.

I quite like this one but I thought I would go over it anyway.

I liked the colours on this but went over it with more prints until it turned out like this. You cannot see the first layer very well now.

I also did some prints directly into a flower book

This were not as successful I think

Doodlewash and Gelli Prints

Hedgehog

Anemone

Playing Cards

I followed instruction from isoiationartschool on instagram for the follwing picture created on a gelli plate with string. Mine doesn't look as good as theirs. It's supposed to look like flowers

I had paint left over so I coloured some paper to use for collage maybe. I made marks in the paint with some things made of plastic, rubber and a handmade rabbit stamp.

When I first put the paint on it just kept separating like this which is quite a nice effect sometimes but usually I want the plate covered properly. I'm wondering if its because the paints are not the best.
Happy Paint Party Friday!

Gelli Prints, Inktober 18, 19 and Doodle

Gelli prints using a Gelli Arts printing plate and acrylic paints.
I used a texture board for this which I made out of wallpaper and card

I used real leaves on these four

Gelli Printing

I decided to spend some time doing gelli prints to try and get myself motivated. I want to do something with embroidery on it but I'm not sure what.

All the above are printed on fabric and the ones below on paper.

Non of them inspire me.
