Friday Catch Up - 28th March 2025

Inktense blocks and Pencils on fabric. I tried using hand sanitizer gel to stop the paint running. It kind of worked but left marks where I'd put it, perhaps I should put it all over.

I had another go at the grand children, it is a bit better but not great. Elliot's blue tongue is from an ice lolly.
This is the same one as last week but I've put in a background

Gelli Print Book [double page spreads]
The face is from a magazine
The big owl is a gelli print, the small owl a paper cut.
The bird is a paper cut
The robin is a layer of paper napkin
I was trying different types of pen, wax crayon etc to gelli print.
The bird is a cut out

Photo Challenges - Stockholm [from a cruise last October]

We stopped here for a cuppa and cake

The narrowest street in Stockholm

I've got more photos from Stockholm still to come
Have a great week!

Friday Catch Up - 21st February 2025

Friday Face Off

Faces painted on fabric with Inktense blocks and pencils. It's quite difficult to paint on fabric because if the paint is quite wet, it spreads and if it's too dry it doesn't cover. The first picture is my mum from a few years ago. The others are random faces I found on the net.

Another stitched face. I stuck to just black threads and a little applique for this one.

Next I tried Inktense blocks on fabric, no stitching

I outlined this one with black marker

Gelli Print Book - I've used an old cookery book to use some of the gelli prints I've been doing. I removed some of the pages so that it wouldn't get too thick and also added some collaged pieces.

The little picture was a drawing/collage I saw of a doll on Pinterest

The face is the fabric one I showed you last time

Another drawing of a doll I saw on Pinterest

Some things I cut out on my cutting machine

The figure is part digital print of a photo and the arms are from a magazine.
