Rose

 I started with a rose created on my tablet

I copied and pasted several times to make a repeating pattern using Photoshop on my computer.

I altered the rose using Filter/Stylize/Glowing Edges and got this

I made this into a repeating pattern too

Wolf

 I used one of my older paintings to make a repeat pattern for fabric or paper. 

I'll put it on Spoonflower one day.

Friday Catch Up 1July22

 I had visitors last week and I've been away for a couple of days this week so no new art. I did this digital work a while ago but never posted about it.

A tablet doodle, then made into a repeating pattern on the computer.

Another tablet doodle, then I used various filters on the computer to change it. The last pink one is the original.

Do you remember my hare with sunflowers postcard? I painted it for the Twitter Art Exhibition where the postcards are sold for charity, this time for the encephalitis society. The good news is that mine has been sold. There are some other art postcards left for sale if anyone wants to purchase one, see here.

Doodle Art

I've been on holiday in Italy and previous to that I had been busy so I don't have any new art. However I've got some that I have never shown before. This started off as a doodle on my android tablet. I transferred it to my computer where I made it into a repeating pattern and then used various filters to change it a little.

I've not got any Doodlewash to show you today. I am doing it this month but I'm putting all the paintings on one page and I'll show you when I have a few more done.

The Cup project has come to a standstill at the moment.

Painted Skirt

Can anyone remember the skirt that I painted?

I used Inktense Blocks and Pencils and they claim to be permanent when dry. Well I claim to differ, they are not. I washed my skirt on the handwash mode with a delicate liquid in my washing machine and hey presto the flowers have faded. It does still have some washed out colour but all the fine details are gone. This is what it looks like now.

I put in a lining a couple of weeks ago too. 

I could buy some fabric pens and go over it or I could embroider it or leave it as it is, what do you think? My husband prefers the faded version.
